I love my H-E-B. They're always willing to help me out and if they don't have what I'm looking for they always offer an amazing alternative to complete my shopping cart. Amazing team at Bryan 1.

The bakery ladies I spoke to on the phone were very rude and unhelpful.

Till today my main grocery was HEB at 1609 North Texas Ave. in Bryan, TX. On December 30th, I went in and bought lobster claws and snow crab legs. The people I spent New years eve with also bought seafood. We had so much, I froze the claws for another meal. Last night, I decided to take out 3 claws for dinner. They were bad. I still have the receipt so I called up HEB to see if they would replace them. $30. is a lot of money to throw in the trash. Well I was told I should have asked if I could freeze these if I didn't eat them right away. REALLY!!!!!!! So I will now be taking my business to Krogers. Wow, I never expected that from HEB. I usually don't bad mouth anyone on facebook, but this is really bad business.

This H-E-B sucks. Definitely the worst H-E-B in town. They cater to the lower income shoppers and those who are using food stamps. This H-E-B is so low class, that they rarely have any Central Market brand options. If you are looking for Central Market brand, a shop at any of the 3 other H-E-Bs in town, but not this one. Instead, this H-E-B has Spanish options of similar foods. This is fine, but I prefer organic and more natural options rather than overly processed foods. I only rarely shop here because it is close to my house, however when I do shop here, the other shoppers are incredibly rude and lack manners. Even in the parking lot, it's hard to park as the shoppers are absent minded and get in your way. Once you get in the car to leave, other cars will stop in the middle of the road to let a passenger in or out. It's really not that hard to pull over a car or a cart, but to these people they don't even notice the other shoppers around them trying to get by. I hate shopping here, but I still stop in every now and then as it's close for the necessities.

Just had a bad experience checking out through one of the express lanes. Observed checker slamming my items around while bagging. Asked her to stop. Especially with the bananas. 2 glass jars cracking together, throwing my apples on top of my bananas in the bag. Adriana did not treat the (black) man ahead of me this way. I'm white. You can draw your own conclusions.

I only shop at this store because it is very close to my house. The employees here don't give a crap about customer service. They will not talk to you unless you go out of your way to get their attention. If you go later in the evening the store is a nightmare...inventory all over the place. It's like a maze to get thru. Some of the cashiers are very nice and some won't even say hello. It's no wonder because the managers (I know they are managers because their shirts are blue....oh, fancy!) won't talk to anyone either. The other day I literally bagged all of my groceries while two blue shirt managers stood 10 feet from me talking about Netflix. I wouldn't shop here at all if it wasn't so close to my house.

Weird store setup but I eventually found everything. Unfortunately I will not be going here again because I don't like to be stared at while I'm shopping. My check out guy was nice though even though the bagger guy at the next lane just watched the checker and myself bag the groceries. I'm new in town and expected a little more pleasurable experience! Guess I'll be going to Kroger from now since that is the next closest grocery store!

Just checked out the even newest new H-E-B out between Old Hearne Road and Hiway 21. The one that was at 1905 Old Hearne is now gone and there's a gas station in it's place. After being let down by the location that opened last year on Hiway 6 and William D Fitch Pkwy., this location failed to let me down as I had no expectations of it being any better. Sure enough it's not, no greater selection of anything, it's just a cookie cutter clone of the other one down the street in Bryan at Villa Maria with some variations for the local demographics. There's a lot more chicken yet no naturals. Large tortilla selection, no naturals nor organic blue corn. No plant based detergents. Right as you enter the store it has rows of shelves with bulk items and a narrow selection. The signage appears to be more similar to Fiesta yet the bottom line is that you can't buy anything different or of better quality here than the other HEB locations in town, thus proving once again that HEB believes that Bryan and College Station are a bunch of broke hicks, demographics etc., that can't afford nor would desire a Central Market. Just a location adapted to Demographics and Food Stamps. Yelp reviews are supposed to be honest, right? This is bleeding f****** honest.
