What an absolutely lovely Thanksgiving brunch we enjoyed at The Campfire at Stella! Phoebe was fabulous and attended to our every wish...Would highly recommend choosing The Campfire for your next culinary adventure in the Bryan/College Station area!
We've been coming here regularly for the past two years now—at least a dozen times, probably more. And up until this last visit, every single meal has been fantastic. The food has always been on point, which is exactly why we kept coming back. That's why our most recent experience was such a letdown. The quality just wasn't there this time. Everything from how the dishes were prepared to how they looked when they came out was pretty far from what we've come to expect from the Campfire.
We made an online reservation. They told us the app didn't record that we needed a table for 6 as requested instead they only had a table for 4. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get seated.
Food was amazing, drinks were too. For a busy game weekend, service was reasonably fast. We had a wonderful time!
We enjoyed our Friday night date night at the Campfire at The Stella. Our service was fantastic and food delicious. I loved the S'more for dessert.
My husband and I had dinner here for our 1-year wedding anniversary, and it was very romantic, the food was great, and so was the service! We loved it and will be back again.
Atmosphere and food was amazing! Great place to celebrate my daughter's 20th birthday brunch was family!!
Bella was out servicer and she was fantastic. Food was wonderful. We actually ate off the bar menu which I personally find yummier!
This was my second visit to Campfire and it did not disappoint. The food is phenomenal, the service is on point and the atmosphere is elegant and casual at the same time. Love this restaurant and will be back again and again.
Menu is a bit limited on variety but all of us were very happy with the food we ordered. Our waitress was great and attentive despite being pretty busy.

The most sophisticated and amazing fresh food. So delicious and great value. Selections are well thought out and blend very well.
Great spot to enjoy a quiet meal & not battle College Station crowds! Perfect for Sunday brunch with your Aggie!
Great food and atmosphere. The menu, (food) is small but great choices. We had 4 at our table and all loved their meal. Appetizers we very good as well. Our cocktails were nothing short of spectacular. Service was great. Our server Madelyn was a hoot. Very fun to interact with.
This is not my first time eating at the Stella. However, this time experience was far from exceptional. First, the server did not seem to know about happy hour, and once she confirmed with the other servers, she came to our table making it seem like she was doing us a favor by giving us the happy hour menu. Second, I have a soy allergy and made it quite clear. My entree came sitting on a puddle of sauce (which contained soy). The server complained that she told the chef instead of immediately taking the entree back. I chose to re-plate the meal and when the manager came he was unaware of my situation. His response was apologetic but also basically “I will talk to my chef”. This could have gone very bad for me had I not noticed the sauce contained soy.
I'm conflicted about this experience. We LOVE the Stella. Always come for special events and just to have dinner and we drive over 45 miles to be there. This time was not the spectacular experience we normally have. Items we wanted to order/drink/eat were not available. It's a limited menu already...the mgmt and kitchen should always be prepared to have ready items on the menu to serve guests...especially if the restaurant is the primary dining experience in a hotel. Inventory should be done to make sure you have product available to offer and serve guests, especially if it's on a menu, wine list or cocktail menu. Management should never put their waitstaff in a position to always come back to a table and tell their guests, they are “out of something” on an already limited menu, let alone multiple times. Please don't rush guests. Let guests enjoy their time and experience while dining. This establishment is semi remote, used for business travelers perhaps, people drive from a distance, please don't rush us; it's not a drive-thru. Food was just ok, bland at best. Hushpuppies were amazing, however entrees were just ok. Just not usual business for the Stella. Looking forward to a better experience the next time we go.
