Hostess was polite and helpful, but that was the highlight. The $35 breakfast buffet was way overpriced. The food was mediocre at best, but they also ran out of many of the omelette fillings, ran out of smoked salmon, ran out of much of the fruit all before 1:00. Will not return.

I was extremely disappointed in the food I received. I went there about a year ago and there were so many more options on the menu to choose from. However, this time the menu has changed. They took all the sides away from the steak options so now you have to pay extra if you want a simple side on your plate. Keep in mind, that I am already paying $60 for a piece of meat. Also my date and I remembered the creamy corn elote and were excited to order it again. They don't sell it with chips anymore. SO STUPID. Our waiter (who we have had before) noticed us looking confused at what we were served and helped fix the situation by bringing us chips. It's very frustrating to see a new chef come in and change the menu by taking off some of the best sellers and taking away sides because he is greedy. To top everything off we were celebrating our anniversary and were very excited because last time they had given us complimentary dessert. This time their complementary dessert was a little piece of whipped cream and SIX berries. Ridiculous for the head chef to do all these things to make an extra buck. My boyfriend and I used to love this place, but we will not be returning. The only good thing about this place was our waiter, loved him. He made our night and we had a blast talking to him. Jacob is awesome. He tried to make the dessert less pathetic by writing "Happy Anniversary" in chocolate. He was very thoughtful throughout the whole night and we are thankful for him.

Our Anniversary dinner was so special because of our waiter, Jacob. He was so knowledgeable about the food and wine pairings. He even had a special dessert for us! He was so personable at each and every interaction! I just can't say enough about him! We will definitely go back!

Nick was one of our favorite servers ever, he's energetic and friendly personality was refreshing. The food was delicious, only down side was the smoker wasn't working for the s'more dessert but otherwise it was amazing

The only hiccup to a nice evening was the waiter taking away a partly-eaten steak and not asking if we wanted to take it to go and not bringing it back to the table in a to go box.

Good place to grab a cocktail and catch some live music or a standup comedian. Service can be slow and sometimes they seem understaffed for the event or occasion.

This experience for a New Year's Eve dinner was phenomenal! We made our dinner reservations in advance, and the Campfire staff, and the Stella staff was on point at taking care of everything for us. We were already fans of the Stella, and now we have a memorable experience. The staff took great care of us during our dinner, and the wine tasting was amazing! Thank you for a great New Year's Eve celebration!

Very nice ambience. For the amount of people, one is able to have a conversation without shouting. Excellent service!! We all enjoyed what we ate. Having said that, the prices for the portion sizes do not match up. The prices should be lower or increase the portion size.

We enjoyed a delightful Christmas dinner at the Stella Campfire Restaurant. It was a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the season. Thanks to the staff who spent their Holiday making things wonderful for us. The food was great, the meatball starter was good, the market salad was fantastic and my salmon entree was superb, not too fishy tasting and seasoned beautifully. Thank you Stella once again for exceeding our expectations!

I've tried just about every high-end restaurant in the Brazos Valley. This is definitely a top contender. Not what I expected being part of a Marriott, but extremely satisfied and impressed with the quality inn care.

This was our families first time to ever eat out for Thanksgiving lunch/dinner. We made the best choice with Campfire at the Stella. The staff/servers went above and beyond to make sure we were happy the entire time. We will definitely drive the distance again to eat there on a normal day.

Came to Aggieland to spend time with our son and see the game. Campfire was an excellent choice for dinner. Wonderful ambience, quiet enough to have a nice conversation. Service was excellent, our waiter was very attentive and engaged. Food and drinks were great. Will certainly return again.

Ate here two times during a recent stay at the Stella and had cocktails twice. All times were exceptional. Great service, fabulous food and drink. I especially recommend the biscuits on the breakfast menu and the salmon brunch dish. Paola and Connor were both excellent servers and the bartenders were all great.

Jordan served us and she was extremely knowledgeable about the menu as well as suggestions for wine and bar drinks. The chef came by our table and was very charming and humble. The manager also stopped by our table and was interested in feedback and comments. When we got to the restaurant there weren't many people there but by the time we left it was packed. Would definitely recommend as well as return.
