We are new to Bryan, tx… here for work. We have only been here two weeks and we have gone twice! Everything has such generous portions and although we thought it wouldn’t be the best food because it is so low priced, it was sooooo good. I got the chicken fried chicken. The first time we went there and it was so juicy with a thin layer of batter and fried to perfection. My husband got the fried chicken hoagie and kept growling as he was eating it. Both of us were very impressed...
Sodalaks!! it’s a fabulous Bryan/College Station institution. If you have not been, please go. I personally love their chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes and fried okra and green beans.!! And the service is great.

Comfort food to the max. Friendly staff that will greet with and stay smiling.
Very cabin-chic but booths and chairs are comfortable.
Plenty of room to walk around tables so you won't feel cramped.
Bathrooms were extremely clean during a very busy lunch time.
