Poor customer service. Staff that is dishonest about attempts to cancel and GM who refuses to return calls to resolve the issue.
My stay was fine, but charges were all screwed up. It has taken me four days and numerous phone calls to resolve the issue. I was constantly told, “I’ll have to speak to my manager and call you back”. Never received call backs. I would ask to speak to this manager and he was never available. In the end, I was on a call with corporate Guest Relations, who was on the phone with supervisor at hotel and talking to her manager in the background. Worst Holiday Inn I’ve ever stayed at. The bathroom was disgusting with hair and dirt everywhere. The carpet had sticky spots. But the worst of things is I went to pull out the couch bed for my kid and a roach was under the cushion. Asked the front desk for a manger to call me and still no contact almost a week later. Don’t seem like they are doing the extra cleaning like they say.
