The Food is awesome!! I stopped by for a quick meal and had to turn around for seconds.. Adam and his staff are great ppl and very helpful. I definitely recommend. A+
Smokehouse 64 in Canton Tx has THE Best BBQ. Even better than the BBQ in Memphis and Gatlinburg, TN. The potato salad is great too. And delicious Fried Pies. We were there at 7:30, just before closing time. The young gentlemen working there was very welcoming and very respectful. Excellent Customer Service. They never disappoint.
My husband & I stopped by in Canton TX & we were so glad we did. We are originally from SC but live in TX now. I’ve only lived in TX for 4 years. Since living here I have searched for BBQ that’s delicious like ours is in SC but with no luck. That is until today. The pulled pork sandwich I got was equal to or maybe even better than that in SC. The baked beans were even better. Slaw was delicious. My husband got the 2 meat plate with turkey & brisket, beans & slaw. He said it was the best he had ever had too.
We are headed to New Orleans but coming back to TX on Sunday & will be definitely stopping back in to eat when we get to Canton. Do yourself a favor & stop in. You won’t regret it!!!
Great food and great people yall go there
Friendly staff, great food! Excellent service!!
The pulled pork is really good, the service is excellent.
You have to stop here. You just have to. I live in Dallas, surrounded by some of the best barbecue on the planet but I get my barbecue here. I travel to Tyler for work regularly and break up my trip with a stop in Canton. I love all things Texas barbecue and Dukes has this little gem tucked away inside. I no longer stop just to break up the trip. I stop intentionally to load up with ribs, sausage, brisket and turkey. I'm not just saying this because the staff is great and Dukes is super clean. I really think they have the best barbecue I've had. So if you are any where near Smokehouse 64 and are thinking barbecue, you simply must go here. You will not be disappointed
Truck driver from Alabama took a load to Texas one of the best places to stop at and get some fried apple pies thousand percent would recommend
Too much vinegar in your barbecue sauce art taste like a lot of vinegar your potato salad was way too salty mean to vinegary and tasted like nothing but bunch of mustard which I like mustard potato salad but that was 222 much overall it was a good place to eat the pork ribs were good the sausages I don't know what kind of sauce is that was but I've had better would I come back and eat yes hopefully they change their sauce up a little bit cuz it was way too vintage

Smoke House 64 in Canton, Texas, is a barbecue lover’s dream come true! From the moment you walk in, the inviting aroma of slow-smoked meats lets you know you’re in for a treat. The brisket is melt-in-your-mouth tender, the ribs are perfectly seasoned, and the pulled pork is juicy and flavorful. Their sides—especially the Peach cobbler, mac and cheese and baked beans—are the perfect complement to the meal.
The General Manager, Adam, and the entire staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the quality is consistently top-notch. If you’re in the area and looking for authentic Texas BBQ, Smoke House 64 is an absolute must-visit. I’ll definitely be back for more

My friend and I are on the road for Thanksgiving and we stopped here on a whim after being lured in with the promise of fried pies. Though the fried pies were great (we got apple and pecan,) the real treat was the Smokehouse 64 food and staff!!! It might sound like hyperbole, but this was the best Thanksgiving food I’ve had in my entire life. Van’s mom made all of it from scratch and you can really, REALLY tell. It was a small team of three working the holiday and each of them was so sweet — we even were gifted some extra cranberry sauce.
MANY of these one star reviews were inherited from the old establishment that was around before the current team took over. Begging you to give these guys a try — just fantastic food and service!
