Val's Italian Restaurant & Pizza - Canton

I was invited to Val’s after church last Sunday. I had never been there before.
I can say the service was great and the food was fantastic. I had the beef lasagna.I will be returning to try their other menu items!!

I'm a big fan of Italian food, sadly most places get it wrong but I'm happy to say Val's done good!! Wow is that sauce delicious and that mozzarella FRESH!! 😋 The aromas of this place make me want to stay. Bravissimo Val's!!!

Wow the service is getting bad. I ordered a sausage calzone and after 30 minute wait got a cheese calzone. Took them another 30 minutes to get the order corrected. When I complained they tacked on. $50 charge for two bottles of wine I never ordered. I asked for the manager and they said they couldn’t correct it because the manager wasn’t there. They had already charged my card when I caught Che charge on my receipt They had to start calling people that were not in the restaurant. I had already been there for an hour and had not even eaten my food I waited on and decided to get it to go I will contest the credit card bill. Incompetent kids running the place w no manager.

Girls trip to Canton! After a long day of shopping stopped in at Val's!! The food was spectacular, our waiter was very sweet and the prices were great! Would recommend to everyone!! It did not disappoint!!

I haven't eaten at Val's in a long time because I don't live in Canton. It was the best Italian meal I have had in a very long time. The spinach tortellini was incredible. The sauce was perfect and the tortellini was perfectly cooked. I will definitely make the drive again soon. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and I didn't feel rushed after our meal was finished. Great meal and nice quiet atmosphere!

Barely any toppings and ingredients were sup par. Ate two slices of large pie and threw the rest away. Comparable to gas station pizza. Great service. Friendly staff.

Our server, Bryson, was very attentive and had a FUN sense of humor. The chicken marsala was delicious!

Stopped in today while out of town. The food was great, but the service and employees were absolutely horrendous. They were gathered at the host stand during the duration of our meal, and were by far the loudest in the restaurant. We saw our server a total of 3 times, and the last time was because I had to ask another employee where our server was because we needed our checks. Our server was sitting in a corner booth, with two other employees, with her back to us. Not once asking us if the food was good. The server did not once introduce herself or ask how we were, just came up and asked what we wanted to drink. She was very short and not very personable, but besides that she failed to perform the duties of her job, which made for an awful experience for my friend and myself. We won’t be returning when we are back in Canton.

Went here earlier this week and it was amazing. They had many different types of foods that weren't the normal restaurant tastes. Me and my dad collectively got the ravioli, manicotti, pizza, mozzarella sticks, and soda. We didn't finish it all in one go, but even as leftovers it's good. Will definitely want to return soon. Only down side is the prices, but as it's a small place, I understand.

Went there yesterday to celebrate an early Valentine’s Day with my wife. I don’t like trashing a business, but it was one of the worst meals I’ve ever eaten. I ordered the Calamari appetizer and when it came it was like eating potato chips, they rings actually crumbled into dust and they crunched when bitten. Then when the entree came, all you could smell was old burnt oil and I only ate 2 pieces. Then today I thought maybe I just had a bad taste last night so I preceded to heat some of the pizza, all I could smell was burnt oil. The entrees were a large vegetable pizza and a meat Sicilian deep pan pizza. We wound up throwing both away. Will never go there again.
