Mima's Tacos To Go - Canyon Lake

Small hometown tacos. I recommend getting there early, seating is limited and the food 👌. I eat breakfast here as often as I can. Closed on Mondays which is kind of a bummer. Favorite taco is the Tejano but it's a messy one.

The food is not good. The tortillas were
barely warmed and the bacon was hard and overcooked, bacon bits basically. Do not waste your time or money. And why do they have the Mexican flag for their logo? I did not see one Mexican in the whole place.

We love this restaurant! We’ve been going to their original location in Wimberley for decades!! We stop at their Canyon Lake location whenever we are there! Great food at affordable prices!!

Their beans are WAY TOO SALTY. I love a good bean and cheese taco, but I can't get past one bite of theirs. It's like taking a spoon full of salt with a bean aftertaste. Now, their other tacos are usually really good. I especially like the ground beef with potatoes. I DON'T like that they've gone up in price again when they're always so busy and similar restaurants in the area (maybe a few miles further) charge half the price for the same (and often better) product. Just back off of on the SALT!

We ordered breakfast tacos. Sausage and egg taco had to be returned - spoiled sausage. Exchange was easy and they were receptive to feedback to inspect it before selling more.
Loved the flavor of the bean and chorizo taco!

I stopped by here for some coffee and breakfast tacos and got both in spades. It's not a food truck, but it could be, and that's a compliment. Lots of eggs, crispy bacon, and seasoned chorizo stuffed homemade flour tortillas - a great way to kick off my Saturday morning.
