We loved the food!! The only downfall is the waiter we had. It was as if it was a chore to take our order.
We waited for over 40 minutes for our food. Other tables around us were sat after us, ordered well after us and receive food before us. It seems like all the other waiters were attending to their tables but for some reason our party of 4 was ignored. We had to flag down another waiter to receive service. :(

Other than the fact that we didn’t receive great service, the food was absolutely amazing. Even my picky daughter ate almost all her food!!

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, the service was incredibly slow. I waited far too long for my food, and there seemed to be no sense of urgency from the staff. My meal took nearly an hour to arrive.

Never Again!! I don't mind waiting but waiting 45 mins for food to come out of the kitchen, is ridiculous. We had to flag down a table cleaner for a coffee refill. Sorry Becky.

My husband and I went in for just a pastry. We shared a brownie. Very disappointing. The brownie was about $5.00 and it tasted old. Disappointing!

Long waits and food not that great. I'd recommend Startz Café instead.

This place was recommended by a local, so we ate breakfast here one day and based on our experience decided to bring the whole family for brunch another day. Our first visit was just my husband and I and it was fantastic. I had an ala carte pancake and scrambled egg and my husband had Paw Paw Bill's biscuit and gravy with bottomless coffee. The wait staff was on point and the food came out pretty fast. We did have about a 15-minute wait for a table, but it was around 10AM so understandable. Our second visit included our two kids. This time was not like the first. Our server was nice but didn't circle around to check on us unless she was bringing drinks or the food and we had to find her to get the check. The food was good once we finally received it (it seemed to take a really long time) – our table ordered French toast, the pancake stack with scrambled eggs, quiche slice and chili (not spicy even though the server said it was) and the grilled chicken sandwich (which was devoured by our 14 yo and "was so delicious").

Great place to dine at after a hill country drive. I highly recommend going down River Rd if going out that way from San Antonio and taking the same scenic drive back. The restaurant is less than a mile from the end of River Rd and the food is amazing. The establishment is a little small and can get quite busy and hectic but you have a choice to dine outside or inside. The specialty coffee bar and bakery offers an opportunity for an additional tasty treat.

Two of us were taken to our table after a short wait. The waitress was pleasant, attentive, and polite throughout our visit. Our meals were ready and served quickly after our orders were taken. We never felt rushed to leave.
Our orders had pancakes that were good. This time the taste and texture was different from a previous visit a couple of weeks ago that were delicious.

New cooks, so unable to have the eggs Benedict, but the staff and the restaurant itself are wonderful.

Me and my husband have always loved coming here whenever we are visiting the area, so we decided to see if they would cater our wedding. To our delight, they do cater! I worked with Susan the whole year leading up to the wedding, and she made the process easy and fun! Susan is a sweetheart who just wants people to have fun and enjoy the food. Anything she makes is delicious, whether it be baked goods or savory foods! Her team did a wonderful job at our wedding and all of our guests loved the food! If you are looking for a caterer for an event or wedding, I would recommend Wildflour! But if you are looking for an awesome bison burger, take the time to stop here!
