One hour before closing no glas for the shakes, only to go because “we’re about to close” .
Not Route 66 worthy.

Their forte is definitely the soda shoppe atmosphere, with flavored drinks and ice cream. The two times I've come here for lunch, the sandwiches were dry and very small for the price. BLT on sourdough was really just two slices of store bought bread (maybe sourdough I guess?) with a bit of mayo on one side, two slices of bacon, two small tomato slices, and a leaf of lettuce. I guess I kind of expected a bit more than a sandwich I could make myself at home. Maybe I've just chosen entrees that weren't very impressive. They weren't bad, just kind of disappointing.

The Ice cream items we've tried were excellent though. Frozen hot chocolate is interesting and very good, and the shakes are amazing! We've tried the banana pudding shake, and a Mocha. I think next time I'd like to try the apple shake crossed with the Caramel one.

Rude. Lady acted as if we were bothering her, after asking for some ketchup. Took forever just to get mediocre lukewarm food.

Great stop for lunch! Lots of sandwich options and we loved the soda options. Chicken salad was really tasty and the shakes and sundaes were top notch!

What an awesome place, it’s like going back in time, exactly how I would imagine a soda shop would have been back in the 50s and 60s. Staff were amazing and food was delicious. Along with the memorabilia in the back of the store all over the walls and hanging from the ceiling, well WOW. Absolutely loved our time spent here. Extremely yummy frozen hot chocolate ?.

Old school soda shop setup. '70s and '80s lunch boxes and nostalgia all around! Really a cool setup. We thought we were going to walk in at 6:00 p.m. Well, as it turned out, none of us remembered the time change from Mountain Time BACK to Central Time (?). So we walked in at 7:00 hoping the place wasn't dead. There were probably still three or four groups eating dinner and enjoying dessert. So we didn't feel so bad... Although we did end up closing the place down. My daughter wanted a soft pretzel and had been talking about it for about 2 days. Well, this place has them, and they are pretty darn soft, good, salty, and delicious! I had the Alejandro sandwich at the recommendation of our server. Other people in our party ordered a burger and a salad, both delicious. Even though the food was good, the desserts are even better. Old school strawberry shake (they bring whatever did not fit in the milkshake glass still in the metal shaker ✊♥️?). Old school vanilla sundae also served in a sundae glass. Classic banana split in a banana split glass boat. Ice cream appears to be homemade or locally sourced, and delicious!! My 9-year-old got a cherry slush puppy (which I really had no idea about but she knew... Of course. ?). We came, saw, and did just about as much damage as we possibly could. If this place was around the corner, we would be in some serious trouble! If you plan to stop at the county courthouse for whatever reason, this needs to be the next stop before leaving!

Parking: This location is on the west side of the courthouse Square. Parking is abundant.

Kid-friendliness: This is a kid's dream. There is sugar in just about every form and fashion.
