Their forte is definitely the soda shoppe atmosphere, with flavored drinks and ice cream. The two times I've come here for lunch, the sandwiches were dry and very small for the price. BLT on sourdough was really just two slices of store bought bread (maybe sourdough I guess?) with a bit of mayo on one side, two slices of bacon, two small tomato slices, and a leaf of lettuce. What an awesome place, it’s like going back in time, exactly how I would imagine a soda shop would have been back in the 50s and 60s. Staff were amazing and food was delicious. Along with the memorabilia in the back of the store all over the walls and hanging from the ceiling, well WOW. Absolutely loved our time spent here. Extremely yummy frozen hot chocolate ?.
Old school soda shop setup. '70s and '80s lunch boxes and nostalgia all around! Really a cool setup. We thought we were going to walk in at 6:00 p.m. Well, as it turned out, none of us remembered the time change from Mountain Time BACK to Central Time (?). So we walked in at 7:00 hoping the place wasn't dead. There were probably still three or four groups eating dinner and enjoying dessert. So we didn't feel so bad... Although we did end up closing the place...
