This was a nice Mom and Pop Restaurant unfortunately due to covid-19 they didn't have a live band and some items on menu. We were the only ones there but that's was cool since was for a birthday. The Reisling wine was really good
Superb
Owners are a friendly, lovely couple!
Great friendly atmosphere with all food made from scratch.
Great place with wonderful staff and owners. One of my favorite dinner spots in town, and great live music on weekends.
We tried 55 Degrees for the first time tonight and loved it. The food was fantastic, the wine was great and the live music added an ambiance we don't usually have in Carrollton. We'll definitely be back!

Everything we had to eat was incredible! They were busier than they expected to be, so the service was a little slow, but to be honest we didn't mind at all - they got us our wine quickly and were attentive the whole night. Make sure to save room for dessert - SO GOOD!
We came in a group to celebrate, and 55 Degrees didn't disappoint! The service, as always, was attentive -- but never intrusive. We love the intimate ambiance, right on the square in downtown Carrollton. Their menu has a great variety of options, and you can tell it's freshly sourced. We were treated with a complimentary slice of cake to top off our celebration -- not one piece to split between the 7 of us -- but we were each given an individual slice to enjoy! Can't wait to go back to check out their live music on the weekend. Well done 55 Degrees!
In on a weekday during the mid-afternoon to catch up with an old friend. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Food was very good. Wine suggestion was right on the mark. Particularly enjoyed the French onion soup.
Restaurantji Recommends
55 Degree's is a gem. First off it is nestled in old downtown Carolloton which is charming. Parking is ample. The food is excellent and the owners personally see to everyone's happiness. I highly recommend 55 Degree's for a variety of occasions.
We had a reservation for Friday night for a birthday celebration. Our table was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. The restaurant was charming, the wait staff very friendly and the food was delicious! it was the perfect place to get together and chat over a great meal. I would highly recommend it.
Servive is slow BUT we didnt mind at all. Its family run and the only have one cook so it takes time to get food. Drinks come quickly and they have plenty of games available for entertainment. The food is ALWAYS great and prices are great for the value.
This pleasant little restaurant/wine bistro is in an Older premises on the squAre in what I assume was Old Carrollton. It has an excellent wedge salad, excellent French Onion soup, and a Harvest Salad that is superb with little bits of fruit added to the greens, as well as feta cheese. Service was also excellent. We will stop in again, I am certain.
Party of 4 and we ate at 6pm on a Friday night. There was only one other table filled which was surprising but maybe because it was Good Friday. All of us enjoyed our meals. The hummus was very tasty. Would have liked to see slightly lower prices on the wine as it was $10 a glass as the lowest option. That said, I would still go back as the food was good and the place is unique and. It just another chain restaurant.
