Abe Japanese Restaurant

Was not what I expected. Heard lots of great things about Abe but it was just okay for us. Service was okay, food came out in a reasonable time. We ordered on an iPad that was on the table. Appreciated how the menu had pictures of the items for a lot of their food. Okinomiyaki was delicious though. Tables in the middle share seats with the table behind with no back support. Sit on the booths if you want back support.

Staff came off as rude, maybe I just caught her on a bad day. Menu prices don’t match what’s online. Please remove the asking for a tip from a self serve kiosk for to-go food. Like what sense does that make? I put my own order in and then I tip you? Ok cool lol

Food was good though, it may be good enough to come back and deal with the slightly rude service.

The wait was a little long, longer than the estimated time from snack pass.

I’ll be back for a follow up visit. Great potential in this place.

Update! The new sake don is F'n guuuuuuuud! if you like salmon you will love it! Oh Men OH MEEEEEEEEN! the New ABE STEAK IS FKIN GAME CHANGER!! when the server showed up with the sizzzzzzzilin steak i almost passed out 2nd the smell filled the whole dine area and it was phenomenal! And when i cut into that steak that bish was buttery smoooth like baby butt! Oh men and the home made sauce was the cherry on top! And and and if you mix the creamy corn, rice and the steak sauce its an another menu on your plate!! Try the steak you wont be disappointed! Also the tamago katsu maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan crunchy outside and hot sweet egg inside i fkn love it!

My wife and I finally had the chance to try this Japanese restaurant, and it was a good experience. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated immediately which was great service. The one thing I would recommend is the seating situation for those that have to sit in the middle of the room where there is no back support and you are basically sharing a seat with someone. Another caveat is the payment option. It's great that all the booths have a tablet you can order from which makes it very convenient, but the fact that you have to pay up front before you even get your food can put a negative feeling on some people.
Overall, it was a great experience for us and if you're looking for a place that has quality food and a HUGE portion, we highly recommend visiting this place at least once!

The katsu curry was just ok. It was much bigger than I expected. Everything else we got was not good - sushi, salmon, pork katsu - none were enjoyed by my friends.

Expansive menu and fast service. You can order and pay from a QR code or iPad without waiting for a check after your meal. Bento box was great and the tables were cozy and modern. A great spot for a quick bite with friends.

No customer service what so ever. You order and pay on a tablet and they bring you your food. No refills on drinks either. Food is not very flavorful. Not coming back.

Heard of this restaurant from TikTok! It was a cool and chill experience. I loved the aesthetic and ease of the entrance as I was escorted to a table. Very modern concept to order food via the tablet. Then the food is taken to you. I honestly really loved the pork belly as my appetizer for it was juicy and paired really nice with rice! Then got a plate of the katsudon! I absolutely loved how crispy it was and was able to taste other little appetizers from the bento box! Recommend trying this place out!

Food was kind of just meh. Seem pretty basic across the board. Space is small and can be very cramped if you sit in the middle. You have to share a seat with the people behind you and possibly a table with strangers if you're into that. They seem unorganized when it came to service, hard to get someone's attention.

I ordered a rainbow roll, but the rice was cold and hard. The fish smelled.. It seemed like they were selling pre-made ones. ㅠ ㅠ
