We first came here opening week and was really impressed by the food, and have been wanting to come back. Stopped by for dinner last night. Unfortunately the noodles didn't seem fully cooked and the meat lacked flavor. Had a hard time even finishing our meals. Not sure what changed with the noodles, but I wouldn't want to return.

The food was so so good, I love the karaage it was so crunchy and juicy and full of flavor! The okonomiyaki was some of the best I’ve ever had hands down! And to top it all off our server Dom knew everything about the menu and restaurant and gave us such good recs and was so attentive the whole time. I will absolutely be coming back!!

First time trying okonomiyaki and it did not disappoint! Everything was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the classic okonomiyaki, it had amazing flavor and was perfectly cooked.

The staff was very attentive and took the time to explain a little about how to order since it was my first time, which I really appreciated. It made the whole experience even better.

Delicious food and great service :). Never tried okonomiyaki before, but our server Dom was wonderful and made good recommendations. We had the negi mamike (karaage chicken with green onion), kimchi beef fries, and GOAM spicy okonomiyaki as per his suggestions, and it was all so good. Definitely will be back with friends!

If you’re looking for one of the best Japanese restaurants in Dallas, you have to visit Chinchikurin. This spot is known for bringing authentic Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki and Japanese street food to Dallas, and the experience is just as good as the food.

We started with the Ebi Mayo, and it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp were perfectly crispy and coated in a creamy, slightly sweet mayo sauce that made every bite so satisfying. We also tried the gyozas, which were pan-seared to perfection with a crispy bottom and juicy filling inside a must-order if you love dumplings.

Another highlight was the Ika Ika, tender squid cooked with bold savory flavors and topped with sauces that bring everything together. It’s one of those dishes that really shows the authentic Japanese street food style this restaurant is known for.

To finish, we had the mochi, which was soft, delicate, and the perfect sweet ending after such flavorful dishes.

If you’re searching for the best okonomiyaki in Dallas, authentic Japanese comfort food, or a fun teppan-style dining experience, Chinchikurin is definitely a place you should try. The atmosphere is lively, the kitchen is open so you can see the cooking process, and every dish feels fresh and authentic. Highly recommend adding it to your list of top Japanese restaurants in Dallas

We had okonomiyaki when we visited Hiroshima some time ago, and were really craving authentic cuisine. We traveled an hour for this and it was so worth it! Portions are HUGE! So come hungry or ready to share. Dom was our waiter andnhe was very friendly, knowledgeable and made great recommendations. We will definitely visit again.

First time there and I didn’t know what to order but Dom gave me his opinion and the drink, appetizer entrée and dessert were all good. The second time I went I got two entrees and both were good. Dom is a wonderful host and server and I’ll be back just for service. 😊 picture of the beef curry I got 😋

Delicious, awesome, very attentive and kind wait staff with amazing okonomiyaki. Took my friend here for a birthday lunch and it was perfect for so many reasons. Kaylie was the absolute best, she went above and beyond to make sure we all had a nice time, kind conversation, refills, quick service, so kind and funny! <3

My first time experiencing Okonomiyaki. 10 out of 10! It was a whole vibe. I wish they had one of these in Denver! Shout out to my guy Dom, he was awesome! Thanks for the recommendations and making my first experience amazing. Oh and I can’t forget Kaylee, you were awesome! Definitely coming back the next time I’m in Texas.

First time here and have to say, I'm sorry I waited so long. Our server, Dom, was very knowledgeable. Since it WAS our first time I ask what he would order. And his recommendation was on point. I had the B&C with marinated beef and a sunny side up egg as extra toppings. My wife had the Yakisobo with marinated beef. Portions are amazing (both of us will have another meal from it.) We got to sit right by the window overlooking the kitchen so we could see the cooks building the dishes on the griddle. All of the staff was amazing. We arrived just after 1pm on Saturday and had about a 10 minute wait because they were completely packed. I can't imagine how full they are for dinner and I don't know if they take reservations. But as we mostly only eat out for lunch, I'm not too worried about that. 🤣 We will most certainly be returning.

Went to celebrate our friend’s birthday and never been there before. Dom our waiter explained it well and gave some recommendations. We had the B&C crispy noodle and Shrimp broccoli soft noodle. All was delicious and then Dom took care of the dessert of michi ice cream. We’ll be back!
