I have been eating here for over 10 years since moving from Florida. It’s the only authentic urban sandwich I can find in DFW. Definitely recommend!

I was genuinely excited for this visit — we drove over an hour from Fort Worth to Carrollton specifically to try this place, so my expectations were high. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in almost every way.
The woman at the register was painfully slow taking our order, yet somehow found time to have a lengthy personal conversation with customers seated outside. It felt like our time wasn’t valued at all.
The coffee station was equally disappointing. The barista wasn’t proactive about preparing drinks in a timely manner, and the area was left uncleaned between orders — a real cross-contamination concern for anyone with allergies or just basic hygiene standards.
What bothered me most, though, were the sanitation issues. There were flies inside the pastry display case. The trash was overflowing. The front of house was in a state that made me genuinely uncomfortable — and left me wondering what the kitchen might look like.
I really wanted to love this place. Cuban bakeries are a special experience when done right. But until cleanliness and customer service become a priority here, I can’t recommend making the trip.

The printed price is not what you pay. When asked about it, the server said because they were a small business and how dare I questioned they practiced business

I just stopped by for a Cuban coffee (I am from Puerto Rico and knows about coffe)

1.- I had to wait toooo long for only a coffe
2.- the price from menu was not the one they charged me, they charged me more.
3.- I gave 15% tip and they demanded me more.
4.- the worst part is the coffe was not a real coffe, 6/10

As a cuban myself from miami .. this place is priced for being “cuban bakery” in a place where most cubans cannot find authentic cuban baked goods. Overpriced and under delivered. Ordered ham croquetas, a loaf of cuban bread & a cafe con leche .. NONE of it was good. Only thing i liked was the service & cute atmosphere which feels like a cuban home.

Such a cute Cuban café with the most thoughtfully curated ambiance—it really feels like a little escape. The service was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. And the food? Solid across the board. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I want something cozy and charming 🇨🇺✨

I am Cuban-American, and I was looking for a place that served Cuban food in DFW. The closest I could find was the Cuban Dulceria International Bakery. I am in Fort Worth so it was close to an hour drive. We decided to go for brunch on Valentine's Day. The place was nicely decorated and gave me the Cuban aesthetic I was looking for. In fact, I have a YouTube channel and was making a video about my experience. We were seated and we started off with a coffee, three croquetas, three pieces of bread and three sodas. The total was $42. It felt a little off, but it's okay. Maybe I miscalculated in my head. Something didn't feel right so I did what I never want to do while I'm eating somewhere, and that's pull out a calculator and make sure everything was correct. Come to find out the prices on my receipt were not matching the prices on the menu. All the items seem to be off by a little bit. I very kindly asked our server, howcome the prices on my receipt do not match the prices on the menu? And she said that she knows that they don't match because the menu that she gave me is outdated, so The prices are all wrong. Looked at me dead in the face and asked me if I needed anything else. I was planning on ordering more, but I'm glad I encountered this roadblock.
Call me crazy but I believe good business ethics begins with trust and if I cannot trust the price on your menu then I might have to go somewhere else to eat.
We finished up our one croqueta, piece of bread and headed out. It is very unfortunate that the only Cuban place in the area gave me this experience. I wanted to be able to bring my family from Miami, that is Cuban, to this place.
If I am wrong, let me know. I love Cuban food, my Cuban people, and heritage. If you come here, make sure the price on the menu are correct before ordering. I have the proof if needed. Have a nice day! 💙
