I don't care what you order from here, the flavors are going to be perfect. Drinks, food, service are all great. The Mole is one of my favorite things on the menu. The basic margarita is better than many restaurants have.
Food is really good but the service is maybe the worst I have experienced. Be sure and take your drink slowly and do not get a bowl of queso as an appetizer. You will want additional chips for your queso and that ain't happening. You will see your server when he takes your order and not again until he brings your check. He will avoid making eye contact with you.
Los Lupes is our ‘go-to’ Mexican restaurant. Margaritas are very consistent, slightly sweet and slightly more lime than others, which we like. For my family, eating out is a social occasion, Armando and Miriam do an excellent job with the service – giving us time to socialize while also moving the meal along. The menu is varied - everyone has found their ‘niche’ over the years. I like spicy – the Mexican Street Tacos red sauce is about the spiciest regular dish...
