This is genuinely one of my favorite Korean spots to go eat at whenever I’m craving soup or galbi. Their LA Galbi is always marinated to perfection and the broth for their soups is always delightful with an extra pinch of salt or pepper ready for you at the table, if needed. Keep in mind that it is a self service restaurant, so there are no servers as you have to grab items for yourself, but they’re always stocked in items and have easy access to grab. It is a quiet place...
The soondae soup was delicious, but the stir-fried soondae was truly amazing! 🥰 It’s been a long time since I’ve had stir-fried soondae this good, and I loved it. I’ll definitely be back!
I tried the galbitang and budae jjigae here and boy the galbitang was so good. Deep, rich flavor of the beef bone with a good amount of green onions and a huge chunk of rib meat in there. I gobbled the entire bowl of rice with the soup. The kimchi is really good here but it’s on the fresher side. I personally prefer a bit more aged kimchi but the flavor is on point. The budae jjigae was too sweet for my liking. Won’t order again.
