I dont post a lot of reviews but I wanted to make sure my voice is heard. I work in the area and it took me a little while to discover this place. I passed by and saw their 99c taco Tuesday special. I bought a few and have been hooked. I have been coming every Tuesday. The atmosphere is great, the food delicious, and the service wonderful. Even when they're the busiest they always make sure you're taken care of. I have recommended this place multiple times over and they have quickly become my new favorite tamaleria.

I ordered tamales,chicken and pork. I wanted no cheese just traditional. They didn’t want to tell us they were out of the spicy chicken. So the workers decided to put cheese spicy chicken tamales instead because that’s what they had ready. We checked the order and discovered this. They were going to let us walk out with the wrong order and take our money. Very dishonest. The food is good but the customer service is not great. They corrected the order but we had to find out by speaking with the manager that they gave us what they had. If they would have just told us this could have been avoided. This has happened more than once but I caught it this time and that isn’t cool. I would’ve compromised and picked another choice.

Went here for the first time yesterday and ordered a birria taco after waiting for an hour turns out my food was just sitting on the counter getting cold I was right up front and know for sure they didn't call my name. The guy gave me a free elote for the wait and that didn't taste good either. The birria taco didn't look as good as it did in the picture and I found hair in my food i won't be returning.

So sad to Share this review but it was my first time getting tacos from here and i had the wost tacos that i have ever had in my life the meat of the pastor was so uncooked the tripa was completle uncooked totally white. So definitely i do not recommend this place at all. My thing is if you are already taking forever to make the food why not do it good. It won’t let me post a picture.

I appreciate them fr having vegetarian items on the menu!! But they should upgrade the salsas and sauces on them, theyre a bit bland.. but my husband whos lived in mexico said it authentic

FYI: ROACHES...Wanted to try it out based on high reviews but was greeted by a young lady who seemed bothered by simple questions about the menu. Went on a Saturday, mid afternoon not busy at all so really did not understand her frustration. Ordered a taco plate (which she didnt know how many tacos came with the taco plate) with asada, 3 tacos de tripa, 3 tacos de asada, and a torta. Added a side of fries and 3 drinks...$70 dollars. Food was nothing extraordinary, limeade and horchata were good. Taco plate and orders of tacos were identically served so didn't understand the diff. Sat at our table and half way through the meal there's a small cockroach crawling on the wall by my daughter. Threw our food away, let one of the girls at the counter know, she said she would let her boss know, and we left. Extremely disappointed.
