Service and food was much better than the kick crab across the street. Usually order myself some to-go, but got together with family before school starts. We were worried about the live crawfish since season is over but we tried a pound and ended up ordering three more. The “medium” sauce we got with it was flavorful. Just enough spicy. There was nothing about this restaurant I didn't like. Service was fast and friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. The price was a bit high but then again I think I ordered the most expensive thing on the menu. It was definitely worth it to me.
Food was okay. Blacked catfish wasn't very spicy. Etoufee was some cream-based or curry dish that tasted okay but I wouldn't call it etoufee. Service was bad. When we arrived she was very friendly. After we got our food we basically never saw her again. No drink refills, no checking to see if food was okay. Waited forever to get our check and had to flag down someone. Then had to wait again to get credit cards. It's a good thing they charge 18% gratuity for groups...
