My favorite soap spot right now! The service is always so friendly, the soup is delicious every time, and I love that they have 4 different spice levels so you can get it exactly how you like it. It never disappoints!

Server was very helpful and friendly! Clean restaurant and the food was well stocked. I got the tomato base soup (dairy free) which was very flavorful! Next time, I’ll try the Tom Yum since it’s dairy free as well.

This is such a treat, even on a hot day. I love the sweet potato noodles and lotus root.

I really like Yin Tang and come here at least once a week. The food is always solid, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They recently replaced the lamb with pork shoulder, which I think is a great decision since the lamb was always quite tough. I’ve been really liking the pork shoulder. It’s been a much better addition.

If the owner happens to see this, would you consider adding celtuce as an ingredient option? A lot of other hot pot spots I’ve been to have it, and it’s one of my favorites.

Either way, I really appreciate the consistency here. Always looking forward to my next visit.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and it was such a wonderful experience. The soup was absolutely delicious, and the variety of food options was impressive. I can’t wait to return again!

I used to love coming to this location, but over the years the customer service and quality have really gone downhill. Honestly, don’t waste your time when the Plano location has much better service and a fresher variety of ingredients.

The only reason I ended up here again was because Plano was closed today. At the Plano location, they sell their broth individually, so I called the Carrollton location beforehand just to ask if they offered the same thing. If they had simply told me “no” over the phone, it would’ve saved everyone time and there would’ve been no issue.

Instead, the employee refused to answer my question over the phone and insisted I had to come in person to order. There was literally no difference between placing the pickup order over the phone versus in person — I was only trying to avoid wasting a trip if they didn’t even sell it.

So I drove all the way there, explained the exact same thing again in person, and the employee said “okay” and left me waiting long enough that I eventually had to ask someone else whether my order had even been put in. That employee went to the back to check, came back out, and then finally told me they actually do NOT sell broth individually at this location. They even seemed confused as to why the first employee hadn’t just told me that from the start.

So in the end, I wasted my time driving there and waiting around (while this employee watched me there) for something that could’ve been resolved over the initial call or follow up. Please train your employees better and improve communication with customers.

Yin Tang has always been my go to spot for malatang because they have such a good selection without going too overboard with options or it being underwhelming.

I do wish that their price by the pound has tax already included in it tho.
