A nice little place for a good meal. What it may lack in charm and ambiance,it makes up with good food and good prices. It's turned into my go-to place for Sunday breakfast. It's not a place you'll scream how great it is, but you'll keep coming back.
I had a Carne Guisada breakfast plate. I'm not sure if it's a standard item as it was recommended as the requested Barbacoa plate was not available.The stew was tender and tasty, potatoes were perfectly crisp, beans were good, salsa verde has a kick. Generous serving.

Finally, a good Tex-Mex restaurant near Bastrop, TX. This took a year to find. Home made corn tortillas, food is delicious, beans are delicious. Salsa is fantastic, all around great food service is top notch, needless to say. food prices are normal ( not Austin $6 a taco ) and it isn't a food truck, where you are eating in your car. Coffee is a 6/10, for comparison. Starbucks coffee being a 1/10 on my grading scale. Their coffee is tolerable. We will be back every weekend.
