“First and definitely not the last time trying Venezuelan street food. We ordered 2 pepitos - the Classic with mixed meat and the Sweet Plantain which paired surprisingly well with chicken and split fries and tequenos (cheese sticks but with a tender bread-dough shell). While the fries were just okay, everything else was spectacular. Including the 4 sauces (+ketchup) that they bring to the table. The garlic and sweet corn were my favorites, and they have cheese (tasted like cheese whiz) and bacon (which others have raved about but I found to be too smoky). The pepitos was a little pricey at around $17 but the portions were large. Service was friendly and fast and the restaurant immaculately clean. It’s a wonderful add to the sea of chain restaurants surrounding it and a definite spot to come back to, to try the rest of the menu!“

“Fogonero no es solo comida, es un viaje directo a Venezuela. Cada plato tiene sabor a hogar, a recuerdos, a momentos que uno no sabía que extrañaba tanto. Se siente la pasión en cada detalle, desde la cocina hasta la atención. Sales lleno, pero más que de comida, de emoción. Si quieres comer de verdad y sentir algo distinto, este lugar es obligatorio.“
