Traveling through town without a lot of options. This was like eating at grandmas house not for the vibe but for the quality of food. The local high school game was on the radio TVs going they poor a great drink the husband wanted a shot and they took the time to chill it when it was certainly busy. We are Canadians on a trip down south and stopped there late for beers and burgers. We were served by the lady who owns the place and what a kind and pleasant person she was! She seemed like she has lots on her plate as she manages the motel as well, but even though we arrived near the close she took time to chat with us and with a friendly smile on her face. Stopped here on my way up to Denver from Johnson City. I had the Chicken Fried Steak while my Dad had a Cheese Burger. We both thought it was pretty good; I especially liked the atmosphere. It’s pretty clean and well taken care of. Service was great too; food came out pretty quick although granted it wasn’t super busy since we came on a Thursday night. Never know when I’ll ever be back in town but if so, I’ll be sure to stop by again.
