This place has a little bit of everything.Green chili hamburger is good. Prices are good. Service is good. They have a little outdoor sitting area or dine in. Drive through. Place does get busy and fills up fast.
You gotta stop! This little place is packed with flavor! They come for the burgers but everything is amazing. I passed this place by the first few times I stayed in Childress and finally had time to stop and enjoy the hospitality and the great food. This is the go-to stop from DFW to NM/CO. Outstanding burgers any way you like it, fried catfish, and even off-menu brisket cheese fries. Speaking of brisket - L.E.G.I.T….it’s up there with anything you’ll have from Fort Worth west, smoked right at restaurant. I’ve seen the pit - offset rotisserie smoker using my favorite - mesquite wood. Pretty sure the owner cuts and splits the wood himself! Highly recommend.
