It was great. The only thing that I did not understand as they were out of Pina coladas at happy hour, but the strawberry margaritas were good. I would go with the full scooter and not the $1.99 special.

We have tried this place few times but every time it is getting worst. This last time Tuesday we went there for lunch. the food had not teste and salsa as well had no flavor at all. just to top it off, when I went to pay, I noticed that without even asking, they have tagged a 4% charge for paying by card. I know in 80's and 90's most people used to carry cash but now a days everything is going digital and card is the only way consumers are using. If bank is charging the retailer for usage of debit or credit card, that is part of the business expense. Also most other places they charge 3% and not 4% which I still don't agree with it any way. To bring this to closer, charging fee for using debit cards is taking away from leaving tip for wait staff. And plain Jane, the owner is STEALING FROM WAIT STAFF.

My son was craving birria tacos.. so this is the closest place in Cibolo... he rated them a solid 4/10, my mom got crispy regular tacos and she said it was a 5 or a 6 she has had better. I ordered 2 Piccadillo tacos but one bite and I was good... the flour tortillas that looked like they were home made (I was excited) were sopping wet... the meat had potatoes and what appeared to carrots in them.... They were not exciting or worth while. I did not eat them.

But their dinner had no flavor it was literally flavorless had to add salt to the plate and the salsa they brought out for the chips, their jaimica was so thick and sweet it was not good now when I get it in the morning it's awesome! IDK what is happening but I hope it gets fixed I love this place and don't want to go someplace else the ladies are super sweet and awesome ?

The food is good, but service has room for improvement.The dish I ordered was well prepared it had plenty of flavor. I do like that they're not using out-of-a-box/can rice and beans. Other restaurants I've visited definitely use a microwave to heat up rice and beans, but not here. Staff is friendly and will get you what you ask, however, beyond that there is not much to say.I do wish the owner or managers would invest in better quality paper napkins. What they have available is the cheapest of the cheap. They're so thin that it's impossible to use one paper napkin to clean or wipe anything, you'll have to stack 3-4 individual napkins to get any results.

Update to my review from four years ago: second time is NOT the charm.My wife picked up takeout from this biohazard factory masquerading as a 'restaurant'. Picked up the same four dishes we usually get from another place. Much more expensive, much lower quantity here. Barbacoa smelled off, but I thought it might just be me. Nope, just like last time years ago (which I swore would be the only time), I'm sick. Thank God the rest of the family refused to eat it. Save your money and the contents of your stomach and patron a better tasting place down the road that doesn't send you home with a container full of rancid meat.
