Overall really good.There was a note on the door stating that the restaurant is short staffed. The guy working there was doing everything- sushi, tables, drinks, and more. He’s a hard worker and produced a great product. The food was amazing. I just didn’t expect to be in the restaurant for an hour and a half due to being short staffed. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. If you’re not in a hurry and want quality food, then this is the place!

It really pains me to honestly review Azure. I guess the owners name is Sunny. Only because other reviewers say so. He didn’t introduce himself and spoke very little English. He is definitely a hard worker and puts out a good product. Other than the volcano roll, which was a mess in a bowl. The main problem is with the service. He has no help. And in a town with so many college kids, it must be his choice to work alone. There is someone else in the kitchen I think. When we arrived it was my wife and I and another 4 top. By the time we were done, it was us and the 4 top, 2 other 2 tops, a 3 top and another 4 top. A pretty good crowd. As he prepares the sushi himself, it took forever to receive our food. The other tables that came in after us waited forever for water, then their food. What bothered me as well, is that a small Hispanic guy walked in with 2 friends. Talked to Sunny and he directed him to serve the tables water. So without washing his hands, he served ice water to the other tables. He then grabbed 3 beers for him and his friends. They were also served before the other people that were already seated and waiting for a bit. We eventually had to walk up to the sushi bar to ask for our check because we were tired of waiting for the final roll we ordered over an hour and a half ago. The rolls we had were good, but the service is desperately lacking and unfortunately his restaurant may not survive with this current business model. I’ll try again next season when we’re in town. Hopefully he will have some employees that can serve patrons properly and expeditiously.

Great little place! Food was delicious and sake martinis were very good as well. The chef was making food, running the bar, waiting tables, seating folks, washing dishes and taking payments. And yet, our water glasses were never empty and we never felt neglected. Impressive service! We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

This food tastes amazing one of the best foods I've had. This place should be packed but no, they definitely are packed at night but not during the day . The service was great and they had very nice employees it did take a while to get the food but was definitely worth the wait. The place is well decorated, I love what they have done with the place such a vibe. Would definitely come again!

This cozy sushi place does not look like much on the outside but rest assured, this place has world class sushi! Since the sushi chef does most of the waiter service at tables, it does take a little longer to get your sushi but it is well worth the wait. The secret menu item Kiki Tower is very protein diet friendly with no rice. Everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. Everyone in my group loved this place. We also had fun with their sake bombs! Have the chef grab sake bomb drums! This place is a must try for sushi lovers. I have no idea it isn't packed to the rim all night long.

So I’m a traveler from Houston snd eat great quality sushi all the time. I walked in on a Thursday night, greater by a guy named “Sonny”….. turned out he ran the entire evening with great sushi chefs, fresh nigiri, sashimi and delicious rolls. Let me tell you , every customer who left, were locals and he treated me the same. You will get great sushi and great service by this place!!!
Chef was attentive and took my considerations seriously. I gave him free reigns and didn't get anything extremely exploratory which is understandable, but was given a nice selection of what he thought was their best. All it all, I think the tuna was covered up with too much of a pungent sauce, however I really liked the Hamachi and the custom roll that was made for me so I definitely give a 5 star rating and will be back. I like this place and will try to introduce others.

We have been coming to Azure for over 3 years now. It is honestly the best sushi in town and is even better than some of the more well known sushi spots in Houston. When I delivered my baby in the medical center, we ordered sushi from a very popular and well known restaurant there. After eating it, all we could think was how much better the sushi was from Sonny’s place, Azure.I highly recommend this restaurant for high quality sushi and delicious dishes!Thank you Sonny!
We so enjoy going to Azure. The food is so good and Sunny and his wife are great. They are the entire show, wait staff and entertainment. This is not a fast food experience but if you are patient then you will understand.The ahi tower and dumplings are a great starter. All the rolls are wonderful but you can’t over look the back of the house hibachi and fried rice.Sunny is so funny, patient, kind and just a good person.Arigato and gracias ??

Traveling for work and glad I found Azure next to my hotel. The restaurant was impeccably clean and the food was awesome! I had the triple sushi entree. All the fish and ingredients were fresh and very well prepared. I greatly appreciated the quality of the food and friendly and fast service while dining here. I highly recommend Azure if you’re looking for good sushi in College Station! Thank you Azure!
