Carport - A Coffee Shop

Pretty bad service if i’m being honest. The guy making food was super nice and made a great sandwich, but the guys making coffee were way more interesting in chatting with friends. (my blueberry latte also tasted like unflavored milk)

I tried the Aussie (hot) and Brown Dog (cold) at two separate times, and the coffee didn’t taste that good. It was recommended to me, and that was the reason why I gave it a second try. The blueberry muffin was good though.

The barista Will Raines is so good. Really sad he doesn’t work there anymore. He has the best latte art.

Always have loved this coffee shop, older staff was super fast and friendly but it seems their policy of only hiring friends of staff has gotten in the way of great service being their focus. Baristas have zero idea of when it is time to socialize and when it is time to put your head down and work, nor do they work with any sense of urgency. Had a terrible experience with the barista today who was not only socializing but also eating instead of taking orders while there was a huge line and did not seem to care what so ever.

Audrey’s energy is contagious! Such kind staff and great service. A hot spot in Aggieland for sure!

Love this coffee shop! Great environment to read in or work at and close by campus. Definitely one of my go-tos now when I come down to College Station/Bryan again.

This is the best little coffee shop in College Station. Since it’s super close to campus, it gives me the chance to have a space to do some schoolwork while sipping a good quality coffee. The shop itself is pretty small, but there is also an outside area. The background music and the kind baristas make the atmosphere super cozy. The Marilyn is my go to coffee. Delicious the blueberry muffin and the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Highly recommended!!

Killer breakfast tacos!!!! Best matcha in college station!!! They recently changed their powder and it’s so good. yay!!!!

Love the coffee here, and the atmosphere, and the baristas! But I was disappointed to learn that the baristas don’t get their card tips! They had a whole spiel for why, but it doesn’t make sense, if someone does a good job for me, I want them to receive the tip I give them! I’ll keep coming, but I’ll always make sure to bring cash for tips. They do seem to get those.

If you’re looking for a good quality 6-8oz cappuccino with double espresso - this is the place. That is, if you looking for something other than Starbucks, this is your place. The staff are really lovely too. Worth the wait for sure.
