This place is a classic! I talked to a professor from Texas A&M and the original Koppe Bridge was built long before the town of college station expanded. You can notice that the building looks quite a bit different than the surroundings and I got to say you can taste the history! Has that classic flavor of a HomeTown staple, I have a few sandwich shops at home that definitely remind me of this spot. It's easy to see how it's a favorite for the locals and visitors....
The burger was bland, I was hoping for something that made me feel nostalgic, like classic Texas, but unfortunately it didn’t have enough flavor to remind me of anything. The portion sizes are really big though, so the value is good. Staff was fine, and the atmosphere is average. Pretty typical decor for a southern burger place. I left feeling underwhelmed after a positive recommendation from a friend
A true College Station classic. The burgers and grilled cheese are so good. And these fries are worth eating!!! Fried pickles and queso are also so good. Best vibe inside and quick service.
