10 Best Sports Bars in College Station

“We’ve been coming to Walk-on’s monthly, sometimes weekly, since they opened during the pandemic. This weekend, we decided to try another restaurant that opened recently with a very similarly-themed name. We were so unimpressed, and inadvertently compared our whole experience to Walk-on’s, which we seem to frequently do. Walk-on’s is consistently great. The service, the food, the bar drinks, all great. Everything is decently priced. I feel like the waitstaff is unique. We’ve never had bad service, even in the busiest times (which we try to avoid but in a college town, that’s sometimes unavoidable). There are lots of great options on the menu and the skinny margarita is one of the best in town. Consistently good, clean, great staff and just a really well-rounded restaurant.“

“First timer coming to this place and it's a must to stop by. The customer service by Alyssa was spot on. You will not go thirsty here. They check up to make sure you are all good every minute. I came to see the Football game and then a baseball game. The staff Jimmy made sure we were able to see the baseball game after he had trouble uploading the channel. I will come by again and so should you. I give it a 5 star review.“

“The pool hall of all pool halls, every moment I've spent here has been a great time! The drinks are cold, the vibes chill, and the staff immaculate especially Randy who has taken care of me countless times. If you're looking for a great place for a boys night/ girls night or even if you're riding solo, P.OE.T.S is a must visit bar!“

“I had such a great time this past Tuesday enjoying the food and drinks and trivia! I had the strawberry mint mule and Al gore hot dog which was great the service from the bar staff was amazing as I am new to the area they told me about the A&M culture and things to do on the weekends. I’m not someone who typically goes to political themed places but this was just a casual bar with great food. Definitely found a new spot to enjoy some beers and cocktails!“

“We ordered excellent IPA’s, split the rib basket with onion strings and still had leftovers. was terrific, and arrived within minutes piping hot. Rita, our server was personable and very friendly. Will definitely be back if we return to Guthrie.“
