Country Diner is a very cute little small-town diner with an old time cozy feel. The staff is really nice, polite, and works hard for their customers. The food is homemade, delicious, and portions are good, with meals served hot, fresh, and quick. Breakfast is served all day, which is always a win. Specific dishes praised include a delicious waffle with juicy sausage patties, perfectly cooked eggs, juicy and large pork chops, good catfish with tarter sauce, migas with thick and crisp tortilla chips, a Philly cheesesteak, fried okra, and the best hush puppies and fried shrimp around. The coffee is mighty fine and really good. It offers classic diner food in a small environment with friendly people and good prices, making it definitely worth a visit. It closes at 4pm, so come early.
