If want the best home cooked meals, then you have to travel to Comfort, Tx, where Cypress Creek inn is located. They have the best home cooked breakfast and lunch there. The chicken fried steak tenders with mask potatoes and green beans, so delicious. My son ordered chicken fried chicken lunch and my wife ordered seafood Gumbo. Food comes out straight from the stove to your table. Atmosphere is your typical country style look. Plenty of parking and the service ( Benjamin) is excellent....
I haven't had gumbo in a while and saw it on the menu. It was great and had a good amout of heat to it as well. We also had the cheeseburger, which was a good straight-forward burger with crispy regular cut fries. And great friendly customer service from the moment we walked in the door! Benjamin, sorry we gave you a fright when you opened the door.
Good articles by the restroom if history buff.Season yourself so diabetic to blood pressure friendly meals. Reminds me of the cooking at Hill top Kerrville nursing home. Lots of older clients easy to hear without hearing aids or with they spoke loudly for us which was so nice. Clean bathrooms to great staff who refill to get what you need. Easy to eat y chew .Desserts are magnificent! Chocolate cake had hint of walnuts y coconut in the icing. Was delicious. Older lady near me...
