El Torito Grill Mexican Restaurant y Cantina

Great atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food & drinks. We tried it last year when we were in from out of town. We came to the San Antonio area this weekend and decided to drive our of our way to eat there again. Yum!! The chips are the best I've ever had at a restaurant. My husband loves their margaritas and I love their pina colada. We'll definitely be back again!

I stopped in for a drink and appetizer while I waited for my husband to arrive in town. I ordered the skinny margarita and a small queso. The queso was a bit spicy for my taste but had good flavor. I felt the margarita was overpriced as it was mostly ice My waiter was friendly and attentive until he realized I wasn't ordering an entree. Then he was MIA! Good quick and concise service from polite people. Tried the steak fajita nachos and the cheese enchiladas. Both were solid. Most notably, their beans are about as good as can be, and the chips and salsa taste great.
