This one closes down it's kitchen early by a hr I've noticed. They'll only sell you drinks. Ran into this a few times. Thank God taco bell was open cause It was too late to cook. My son was disappointed he didn't get his foot long

Sonic used to be a hallmark of fast food in Cow Hill, however you can bet your shiny hind that Sonic is yet another establishment suffering the effects of the prior pandemic and the current recession.
What used to be fast food, is no longer fast, but now barely enough food to make you happy. I've never had issues with employees themselves at Sonic, but the service is quite slow, and the portions are probably something to quarrel with Sonic headquarters about rather than this specific franchise.
Mind you, I'm 140lbs and the portions are still snack sized to me, I feel like I'm being forced to have half-rations in the fantasy post-Soviet States of America with the reduction of the size with Large Popcorn Chicken.
I recommend taking your business elsewhere unless you are achronically-addicted to route-44 sized soft drinks with high-fructose corn syrup additives.

Hamburgers were cold...cheese wouldn't even melt. Ordered tator tots with chili and cheese barely any chili and cheese on them. Also ordered tator tots with cheese... barely any cheese on them...use to brag on this Sonic... it's went downhill a lot in the past few months. Very disappointed.

This if my fifth time coming here since I live nearby and every time there’s something wrong with my order. I came during happy hour and didn’t get this happy hour discount on my drink. This is just ridiculous. I paid extra for whipped cream to be added on the top and this what I get. Get it together please!

The new benches in the out door area at sonic are much more comfortable than the classic wire mesh tables.

To stupid to put up an out of order sign on stalls, they just walk by you knowing they're wasting your time. Ignorant.
Hard to review the food because I didn't get served. Wait for more than 15 minutes for someone to answer my stall right across from the drive-thru. Watched 6 cars pull through and get food and there was only one other car at another stall. Finally gave up and went to Whataburger.

Once they updated to their new look everything went down hill. You never see employees anymore, never anyone around, everything looks closed up and when you go to order something they tell you they're not doing those right now. I use to love this sonic I been going to the sonic here in commerce Tx for many years and I use to work at the old sonic back in the day now I don’t know what happen to this one who ever the young lady that’s working this one mess up on my order two weeks in a row I’m bout done with this sonic in commerce two many young kids working here I guess looks like I’ll be going to Dairy Queen when they open ps and the French fries was salty as Hell
