“This restaurant has such amazing African food. I ended up walking in and meeting the owner. She was very sweet and recommended some things for me to try. I ended up getting the egusi soup, the jollof rice with chicken on top, plantains, swallow on the side, and zobo (which is a hibiscus drink that tastes like a delightful, citrusy hibiscus tea.) All of it was so great. They put something in the egusi soup that I couldn't tell what it was, but it was still good. The jollof rice is exactly how I remember from my college years, and the plantains were perfectly ripe, sweet, and savory. The fufu had a great texture and wasn't overly seasoned. The chicken was probably some of the best chicken I've ever eaten. 10/10 will be coming here again.“
