“I had an opportunity to go Kofochi Nigerian Restaurant all the way from ATL. Let me start by saying thar customer services and food were top notch. The decor was right on point and not to mention cleanliness of the place. I came with few of my friends, and we had Amala with abula, jollof rice and I had a fish. All the food was perfect. I will go back there when I make my way to Houston again.“

“Ordered Egusi soup with assorted meats from here a few days ago and it was SO good. I’ve tried Egusi in the past from somewhere else and it was not good. It was bitter. But Omalicha Kitchen made it so delicious! Just ordered the vegetable soup with beef! Can’t wait to try it.“

“The food is 100% tasty. The beef is too chunky though and there was no option to have just beef vs assorted. Maybe a little more bite sized meat? This is a personal preference though…They need to decongest the space a little. The manager/owner was quite amiable.“

So far everything is great shopping here. I think the only issue I have is specifically how expensive the food is and specifically the snacks. The the egg rolls are $3 each, which is too expensive. Maybe there's a strategy there in terms of making it more expensive so as to make sure it doesn't run out quickly. Also another minor issue I have is how easy the checkout lines get filled up and aren't as quick. Apart from that I had a good experience shopping here.“

I'm vegan and the Lady chef made feel comfortable and prepared my meal and it was quite delicious.
I had the spinach mixture with no fish, a lot of plantains, the tomato stew was to die for totally tastefully.

“I was in Houston for a wedding with my husband a couple of weeks ago and was so excited to find a Nigerian restaurant close to our hotel—Nativeport did not disappoint! From our very first order, the experience was nothing short of amazing, and it stayed that way for the four days we kept going back.

The owner was professional, dedicated, and most importantly, can seriously cook! I fell in love with food all over again. Everything we tried was authentic and delicious. I even ordered extra food to take back home to California, and she kindly froze everything to make sure it would travel well on my flight.

P.S. My last meal before flying out? Fried rice, plantain, and peppered goat meat—perfection!“
