“I had an opportunity to go Kofochi Nigerian Restaurant all the way from ATL. Let me start by saying thar customer services and food were top notch. The decor was right on point and not to mention cleanliness of the place. I came with few of my friends, and we had Amala with abula, jollof rice and I had a fish. All the food was perfect. I will go back there when I make my way to Houston again.“

“We were in the area as I was dropping bae off at the airport and we were looking for something to eat before his flight. We stumbled upon this place and boy am I glad we did because the food was absolutely divine!

I had the garnished tilapia with jollof rice and vegetables. Not sure what vegetables I was eating perhaps spinach but they were cooked to perfection. Bae had the garnished goat meat which was so tender and I appreciate the bite sized cuts instead of the chunky portions. I low key wished I had gotten the goat.
We ended up getting a side of jollof rice because the goat meat plate did not come with any sides. I will definitely be back if I am on that side of town again.

The four stars are because I wish they adjusted the spice levels. I like my food spicy and Bae who is Yoruba’s spice level is not for this world! so the food wasn’t as spicy to both of us as we would’ve liked.

Service was a little bit slow, but I think it’s because they do make the food fresh. Nice clean restaurant great customer service and cannot wait to be back next time I’m in humble“

“I was in Houston for a wedding with my husband a couple of weeks ago and was so excited to find a Nigerian restaurant close to our hotel—Nativeport did not disappoint! From our very first order, the experience was nothing short of amazing, and it stayed that way for the four days we kept going back.

The owner was professional, dedicated, and most importantly, can seriously cook! I fell in love with food all over again. Everything we tried was authentic and delicious. I even ordered extra food to take back home to California, and she kindly froze everything to make sure it would travel well on my flight.

The only thing I don’t like is the unnecessary teasing and small talk that some of the male cashiers try to have with me mostly because I’m introverted so i really appreciate when the younger female cashier is there. We ordered a variety of dishes :dibi lamb/ plantains and vermicelli , shawarma, 5 nems or egg rolls ,dibi chicken served with Fries which was one of the best chicken I have ever eaten . Meat was tender and marinade was on point !!!!!! We also enjoyed all three drinks however the ginger was our favorite . “I think wingstop got new owners or something because their service got slower and the wings don’t taste like they used to, so I decided to try Wingbay. The wings are better than wingstop and the cheese fries were loaded with cheese. This will be my new wing place.“

“I absolutely love Dupsy’s. As a Vietnamese person, I didn’t expect to crave African food as much as I do, but their dishes are just that good. My go-to is the fufu with egusi stew and chicken… always rich, comforting, and full of flavor. My friend also tried the goat meat once, and while it was a bit different for me, it still had that same delicious, well-seasoned taste. I especially enjoy everything spicy and Dupsy’s does a great job accommodating to that option naturally!

It’s located in a dining hall rather than a traditional standalone restaurant, so I always make sure to place my order about 30–40 minutes in advance. Once I arrive, it’s ready for pickup, and I get to enjoy it right away. The dining hall itself offers a variety of cuisines, and I understand that Dupsy’s may not be fully staffed like a typical restaurant, but the care and time they put into making these authentic dishes really shows.

I’ve been coming here for years, and the portions and flavors have never disappointed. I truly love this place and will definitely be back soon.

“From the moment we walked in the front door, even though it was busy, the gentleman who greeted us provided superb customer service. He made sure we were seated exactly where we wanted, brought water to the table promptly, and still managed to attend to other guests efficiently ….that alone was impressive. We actually drove an hour and 30 minutes to get there. While we were on the road, I kept saying, “I’m never driving this far again!” ..but I really wanted to try the food. And let me tell you, it was well worth the drive. When the food arrived, it was beautifully presented and piping hot. Even the powdered yam was wrapped neatly in what I believe was a palm leaf ….a nice touch. I ordered the seafood okra and egusi with assorted meat, and every bite was undeniably delicious. As someone who has eaten a lot of Nigerian food …especially for an American girl…I can confidently say this is by far one of the best experiences I’ve had.
