“Our dinner here was excellent. We were able to get a seat right away. I enjoyed the music and atmosphere. I had the jerk chicken, plantains and greens. The jerk chicken was not too spicy and a nice portion. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The greens weren’t your typical greens. They were very flavorful and had pieces of red pepper which gave it a nice taste. The plantains were so good! My husband had the grilled snapper. The snapper was plated beautifully and tasted excellent. The assortment of Caribbean juices was also really fun to try. The Sorrel juice was my favorite, an absolute must. I was impressed with how healthy everything was. The restaurant was also very clean. We will definitely be regulars here.“

Service was fast and the food was delicious. We had the empanada flight...All of them were great! We had the oxtails with sweet potatoes and greens. The oxtails were very well seasoned and super tender. The greens and sweet potatoes remind you of those an old country grandmother would make for Sunday dinner. We also got the grilled fish and shrimp. It was tasty , too, but the oxtails were definitely my favorite. We've already been back and I'm sure we'll go back again. “Crawfish!!! Crawfish!! Crawfish!!! Wow, the seasoning for the boiled crawfish here is amazing!!! a lot of places have their own “secret” seasonings — some work, some don’t. Gran Sabor Latino has a seasoning with butter garlic and other spices that really gets it done. Just amazing. And the owner and staff are so nice. They go above and beyond on service. Will definitely return to try other items from the menu.“
“The parking was tight & limited but the food was good & piping hot & I love that for me. 5 stars for that. Everything was seasoned well. I ordered the 2 meat combo.. curry chicken & oxtails. My 3 sides were rice & beans, curry mash potatoes, & cabbage.But I ordered plantains & they gave me the cabbage instead. I dined-in so when I bought it to her attention, she said they ran out. I think that’s something I should’ve been informed of & I should’ve been the one deciding on what to substitute it with, not her. How do you know I even like cabbage?Thankfully I do so I didn’t make a big deal out of it but for future reference, if you’re out of a particular dish, let the customer know so they can substitute it for something THEY like. Don’t take it upon yourself to substitute for whatever YOU please.“

Being that it's in the Conservatory food hall you would expect food court service but I didn't get that. I ordered the perk fried chicken that comes with fries... and let me tell you whatever Crack they put in that sauce drizzled on top is fire!!!!! If simple chicken and fries was sauced up like that I can't even imagine what the rest tastes like! Definitely a must try... they even have Ting and pink Ting soda!!! I was disappointed they had run out of plantain though. But after eating my portion of what they gave, that was for like 2 people it's acceptable“

I’m slowly making my way through the menu but it’s hard because I could eat any one option, repeatedly, and be satisfied. “The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered the meal for 2 which included chicken soup, beans, rice, salad, shrimp, pork belly, bulgogi, chicken and brisket. We also ordered the tostones (fried plaintain chips) and takoyaki (fried octopus balls served on top of imitation crab mix). My favorites were the chicken and brisket. The server cooked the food for us, but you can do it yourself if you'd prefer. The interior was beautiful, especially the bar area and the fake cherry blossom tree.“

“It's been almost a couple of years since we been to Cool Runnings Jamaican Grill. I was ready for round 2.The service was a bit slow today, but I was patient enough to wait. The lady finally took my order, and not even 10 minutes later, the food was ready. I ended up getting 3 things. I got a large Curry Goat, a large Brown Stewed Chicken, and 4 Beef Patties.The Curry Goat was really good, not spicy, very mild in flavor, very tender like falling off the bone tender. It came with Rice and Peas and Cabbage. We wanted to try this last time we visited, but they were out. So I was relieved when the lady told me that they have it today. Worth it.The Brown Stewed Chicken was probably my favorite next to the Oxtails. The Chicken was flavorful and falling off the bone tender. The sauce that the chicken was in was so rich and full of flavor. The reason why I decided to try this is because Keith Lee rated this a 10/10... I have to agree with him there.The Beef Patties was still full of flavor on the inside but it was warm, like it's been sitting there for a bit. Despite that, I will return again soon.“

“Everything on the menu looks so good, it was hard to decide what to order! So instead of buying everything, I settled on the Bistec Ranchero. It's a simple yet delicious plate of what I believe is fajita beef and bell peppers and onions in a really nice tangy and savory sauce which was served with white rice, salad, and some very dark and tasty refried beans and 2 fresh made tortillas that were so soft and warm. Everything was great individually but after tasting, I put everything on the tortillas and made a burrito. Delicious! Nothing spicy here but lots of flavor!“
