Golden Crust in Houston never disappoints! The jerk chicken is my personal favorite—perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. My wife can’t get enough of their meat patties, and we both agree their mac n cheese is next-level comfort food. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food is consistently flavorful and fresh. Definitely one of our go-to spots for Caribbean flavor in the city!
The food was amazing as always! Kim and Sharae were very professional and helped us decide what meal we wanted. We ended up with the Jerk Chicken, and Curry Chicken with soursop and sorrel juices. The serving sizes were plentiful, the chicken was tender and juicy and the homemade juices were delicious! We will make this our weekly spot!
I’ve been to this location 3x and prior to today there were no issues. I always order the same thing. The braised oxtails, well today they didn’t have enough to complete an order. So, the very nice young lady said the jerk chicken is really good. I said ok. I’ll get that. Got it home and started eating and noticed that there are still feathers on some of the chicken. Golden Krust serves great authentic Jamaican food with amazing flavor and generous portions. The jerk chicken, patties, stew chicken, rice and peas, plantains, spinach rice, curry goat, and oxtail are all so good. The food is fresh and the staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The service is even better than the food. Chantio is always friendly and smiling, the sweetest person who loves her job. This is the best Jamaican restaurant in the Houston area, a go-to for good Jamaican dishes.
