I thought the food was very good. The queso dip and chips were right on and the shrimp tacos I had were great. Service was a little off but think the server was just new and will improve over time. Definitely recommend stopping in if you are looking for upscaled American cuisine.
Enjoyed happy hour here tonight for the first time. The interior design is warm and welcoming. Bathrooms are clean. I sat at the bar, Which has limited seats, but the seats were comfy. Happy hour is from 2 to 6 PM Monday through Friday. I ordered the spinach artichoke dip. During happy hour all appetizers are two dollars off. This Saturday's choice for lunch was another new restaurant we've never tried before, J. Macklin's Grill in Coppell TX on Denton Tap Road. We ate outside on the covered patio so Buddy, our dog, could join us. Taylor picked the Jaywalker Tacos and I chose the Shrimp and Grits. The only complaint I had was with how spicy mine was, but I don't do spicy food very often. Next time I'm going to give the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl a try. They even had water bowls...
