Food was below average. Seating was quick. Waitress was attentive.

Leann was very friendly and thanked me for my service. They do offer military discount, yay! This diner is like “Back in the future” kind, absolutely lovely. I was delighted of its ambiance. Good variety of dishes and very great prices, very!!! The only reason i gave them a 4 month s because i asked no onions on my dish. Angel tried to fix the mistake and the manager offered to make me a new one, i truly appreciate it. However, it is extremely significant for the kitchen to understand this is how the diner gets in trouble and can end paying costly legal fees. Allergies can cause anaphylaxis like in my case, and attention to detail on this matter cannot be overlooked. Otherwise i truly recommend this jewel of a restaurant and i will return, i will.

First time in texas, this place was highly rated, and it met all expectations. Food was incredible, atmosphere was friendly and inviting, and the bartender April was amazing and friendly. Would easily recommend this to anyone.

Home cooking for when you just can't eat another taco! Which is rare for me!

I used to love the Local Diner Been coming here for over 10 yrs. we noticed a lot of new faces and was told it was under New Management and it definitely showed. Our servicer was terrible.She ignored our table and was to busy entertaining one particular table for at least 10 mins. I felt very unwelcomed while I was there. After she finally, took my order? She brought my salad back wrong. I had a plane to catch so I picked my way through the salad. The whole atmosphere in that restaurant felt horrible.Worst service I ever had. These new owners are going to run this place to the ground if they don't get better service. I will never be back again!! Very disappointed!!!

Delicious! We stopped in for breakfast for the first time and really enjoyed the Local Diner! The menu has lots of great options that are easily customizable. Fast, great service, and a super cute location!

After trying other local restaurants and being turned away due to inability to accommodate our large 11 person family we ended up at Local Diner. They were more than accommodating with the best customer service around and extremely reasonably priced. The pancakes are huge and oh so delicious! We ended up going back every morning for the remainder of our stay and went back for dinner as well. 10/10 will be back if ever we are in Grapevine again!!

Parking: They have a large free parking lot and free parking spots on both sides of the street. We didn’t have any issues finding parking.

Kid-friendliness: Of the 11 in our crew 9 of them are kids, they seated us quickly, we were all able to sit together, they have a great smaller portions menu, and the food comes out extremely fast so we didn’t experience much wait time at all.

I was in there today and all I can say it’s that it’s very disappointing, it is not the same it was better with the other servers back then. Everyone’s busy with their own life and gossip then actually taking care of the customers, their rude and lack servers skills. WILL NOT BE RETURNING, FOOD SUCKED!
