Tommy Tamale Market & Cafe

The absolute best tamales in DFW. So many different varieties and other menu items to choose from. The tamales are a family favorite for the holidays. However, I keep a couple of dozen in the freezer. They have simple heating instructions, and they come out fresh and ready to eat.
I am greeted with a smile when I enter the restaurant. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I will continue to drive across the metroplex for the great food and service at Tommy Tamale.

Super clean and friendly restaurant. My husband and I tried the tamale plate and it was absolutely delicious! Good portion size as well. The rice and beans and tamales tasted fresh and flavorful. We are in town for a relative's college graduation and don't have good Mexican food by us back home. We really had a lovely experience and highly recommend this location. You won't regret it! Sorry we are everything before being able to take photos! That's how yummy it was!

The best tamales I've found so far in DFW! The sides are good as well. The staff is always friendly whenever I've stopped by.

If you want some good Homestyle Cooking as in tamales that's a place to go to I took me and my brother went there for lunch great place to go eat very reasonable in price very nice people that work there actually dined in and had a good time there

My wife and I have visited this store a couple of times so far and enjoy the food and service the atmosphere is okay but nothing special, the employees are nice and helpful when taking our orders. The parking is a little tight but okay.

I’m visiting Texas. My friend told me she loves the tamales from Tommy’s. We stopped here to try them, and wow!!! Ended up getting a taco platter and the Hatch Chile & pork tamales. Michaela was so kind to us, she explained everything on the menu to us. 5 Star customer service.

I went right at open so not sure how busy they get. My food was out quick, hot and delicious. The lady at the front was very nice and recommended the hatch chile tamales, they are amazing.

This was the first time at this location but the service was the same as the other Tonmy Tamales. The customer service was awesome and the wait time was none existent. Our food was serve hit and fast. My daughter and I loved every minute down to the last morsel. I would recommend this location to my family.

Wow, this place surprised me, my wife wanted to go here but I wasn’t sure because of previous experience with other places like this, related to the tasteless tamales, but this place omg! The taste is great, the beans, the rice, the salsas, wow! It was great taste! I just found a hidden gem!! I totally recommend this place! The food is great (believe me).
