“Such great service and great wine!“
“Located in Lewisville, off the beaten path. Plenty of parking. Drop in and try a flight. Don't take yourself or the wine too seriously and you will find your groove here easily. Welcoming owners provide a cordial spot for people to gather, drink wine and chill. Thursdays are open mic, other times they have scheduled live music or other entertainment. Sunday afternoons are often quiet. Atmosphere is cool, dim but in a good way, like a secret sanctuary from life's cares. A unique place for sure. Note this is not a restaurant so be sure to have a snack or meal before you arrive. Strictly wine, and then the wine slushies. Very nice!“
“After discovering Above Wines at a local pop-up, I knew they’d be perfect for a birthday celebration—and they did not disappoint. Aldo curated an incredible selection, taking us on a guided 'tasting tour' through Italy that was as educational as it was engaging for guests of all levels.
The planning process was just as impressive; Daphne was a total delight to work with, handling the coordination so seamlessly that I could actually enjoy being a hostess. If you want a stress-free, sophisticated, and genuinely fun event, I can’t recommend them enough!“
“Great atmosphere and well kept grounds. Quaint little wine bar that you step up to. The staff is friendly and helpful and really know their wine! Highly recommend Cross Timbers!!!“
“Jordan and John made my experience so nice and comforting! They gave great suggestions for wine since I had no idea what to choose and they definitely knew what they were talking about! My favorite was the riseling! Thanks again Jordan and John! I will be back!!“
“We love Silver Dollar Winery and Italian Bistro!!! it’s a must stop at when you are in Texas Hill Country! We feel it is the most authentic winery in the area!! The grounds are absolutely amazing to get a bottle of wine and a great Italian meal and sit outside, taking in the beautiful countryside! We love the chicken poblano lasagna, it’s to die for! The staff is amazing and super friendly! Feels like coming home every time we visit from Colorado!!“
“Love this place, very friendly staff Very organized and nothing better than Texas grown grapes for the wine Carmen was fantastic“
“Had a few hours layover at Dallas/FW airport and decided we’d take a quick peek at Grapevine. Cute, charming historic Main Street, we arrived after 6pm so most shops were shut but fortunately then we were drawn into Red Dirt Cellars by the great music.
Staff and customer Cass were wonderfully welcoming and made us feel special. As an Australian, living in the Hunter Valley winemaking region of NSW, I had no idea that wine was even made in Texas. Tried the Tempranillo and Landon’s The Texan reserve red wine and very impressive they were too! But the staff made it for us, they were warm, super friendly and helpful. I doubt I’ll ever find a winery with such great customer service again Love Jill and Clare“

“We stopped in yesterday and had a great time. Jill is beyond friendly and hospitable. Learned from Jill that their grapes come from Northern CA. Jill shared they have a lot of sweet wines but when I shared that I prefer a drier red, she recommended the tempranillo which was great. We ended up buying a bottle.
The winery is spacious - could easily accommodate a larger group. Comfortable seating. Will definitely be back!“
“Awesome spirits, especially their bourbon and tequila — always a great selection. What really makes it stand out though is the cheese section, which is perfect for pairing with a good bottle, and the cured meats just round it out even more. On top of that, the staff is great and always super friendly, which makes every visit a pleasure. It’s the kind of place where you can grab everything you need in one stop and know it’s all going to be top quality.“

“Great local winery service wines from Texas. I recommend trying the Mimosa flight with the house sparkling wine, which comes with orange juice, apple juice, grapefruit juice, cranberry juice, and pineapple juice. The charcuterie board is also great for a snack. This location is right by the Sound at North Lake in Cypress Waters.“
