Donuts near Copperas Cove

“I was there about an hour before closing, but the burrito, glazed doughnuts and kolache were all fresh and delicious. My 1st husband used to manage doughnut shops and get them back on their feet (kinda like Gordon Ramsey in kitchen nightmares-but he did 6-12 months rehabbing them-so I KNOW the difference between good doughnuts and crap ones).
This shop serves the best doughnuts I've had in 3 years in Texas! They are a small out of the way shop with a drive thru.
If you looking for fresh GREAT doughnuts, this is by far the BEST TASTING AND QUALITY you can get. I've tried the doughnut shops in Harker Heights, Killeen, Temple and Copperas Cove. If your not in The Cove...BELIEVE ME this shop is 100% worth the drive. Fortunately for me it's so close I walk to it.

“Such a great little donut shop. Their pastries and kolaches are top tier. The employees are friendly and very fast. Best place to start your morning when in Killeen, Texas. I recommend the hill sausage, cheese, and jalapeño kolache. It’s really delicious.“

“I gave four stars because I ordered six kolaches (four with jalapeños, two without). My young granddaughter does not eat jalapeños. Despite saying my order a second and third time when asked about my order, she still gave me all six with peppers. I will ask for them in a box from now on and not accept the order crammed into those little bags. There...problem and solution because we really like them?“

“I ordered 4 quarts of the Love potion 31 ice cream on line and set a time of 7 PM. When I called to say I was on my way BR told me they had no such order and that the flavor was not even in yet. I was directed to contact customer support. I contacted CS via e-mail and next day received an e-mail from Jennifer the district manager. Explained the issue and she asked me to come to the store and the funds were refunded as well as a free quart of ice cream for my troubles. Perfect example of turning a bad experience into a positive one. Although I will not use the online ordering option as this was the second issue I have had. Thank you to Jennifer for handling this.“

“kudo for the management and staff - it was a rather slow day inside but the drive thru was consistent. eion (sp) and the day manager kelly (?) were excellent. i would suggest that to avoid having to dispose of perfectly good food that they consider donations to the homeless shelter or having a manager's special happy hour for the last hour (while supplies last)“
