Agave Jalisco Mexican Restaurant

I don't really post my experience in restaurants because I figured tastes are individual and so to each their own. But I have to post a picture of this beef fajita chalupa! The flavor is awesome, the beef is so tender, not to mention the beer is ice cold. I mean I eat here all the time because I love their homemade salsa but I just had to post my chalupa today!!

Best ever breakfast and always excellent service! Conveniently located next to The Laundry Depot. Killed 2 birds with 1 stone

Was good but the waitress, instead of bringing me a plate, put it all in a burrito. The manager offered to fix it for me but I just took it like that. Language barrier I guess

PLEASE BE ADVISED IF YOU GO THROUGH DRIVE-THRU AT THIS RESTAURANT THEY WILL HELP THEMSELVES TO A TIP WAY ABOVE THE 10% WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT!!! I will NEVER return to this restaurant. You have the bold audacity to not only steal from me but after telling you my order over 6x you still managed to not get it correct adding crap I didn’t ask for making my food inedible… 😡

Had the special,carnitas with rice and beans and the best flour tortillas I’ve had in awhile. Waitress was very attentive. Definitely do recommend

Had watermelon and mango margaritas for 3.99 each. I enjoyed them immensely and the tequila was not weak.

Everything about this place is great. My family in corpus swear by it and although different than the Mexican food where I'm from. It wasn't whitewashed and trying. It was genuinely good food and at the time it was good for a hurting heart. The staff was kind and pleasant. They may not all have spoken English but that was ok . They worked with what they understand and got help quickly when they didn't. Not sure if that was luck or company plan but either way the staff is spot on. Thank you for caring for us when we may not have been able to care for ourselves. We came from a funeral and taking care of each other was our priority and you took care of the rest

Waitress was great. Prices for a drink are outrageous 5$ for a drink that's half the price of meals.
Margaritas were cheaper than a drink 2 something.
Torta was good. Added fries to it.
Pancakes were not bad.
Biggest complaint was the drink prices.
Carne asada tacos were great. This is one of those places that charges for napkins type. So all the small prices add up.
Booth Seats have cushion but felt like you landed on straight wood.

Great coffee. Burrito was big as heck and delicious. The beans are amazing. What more could a guy ask for?
