Very friendly staff, I constantly have favor orders here & absolutely enjoy how accommodating and nice the employees are here. They have a huge taco challenge, & chicken fried steak challenge, that I have been wanting to try, but haven't practiced for. Throwback to simplicity but not typical but surely an original. Food and service punches above it's weight here. There's a taco the size of a serving dish and if you can hammer it down in 10 minutes you get your photo placed amongst others who took on the challenge and won . Couple next to me ordered it only finished a corner of it . Inside the atmosphere is a little dated but the welcoming customers and staff make you feel at home and maybe that's where the magic...

The food was great—good portions for the price, and the tortillas and pancakes were definite standouts.
The bad:
The building itself is in terrible condition, and the lack of cleanliness doesn’t inspire confidence in what you’re eating. The floors felt sketchy, like I might fall through at any moment.
