Elizabeth's at the Art Museum

Elizabeth’s has always been a favorite of our family. The service has always been slow but not too bad and the location, food and drinks usually made up for it.
However, we went for my husband’s 60th birthday and the food was mediocre and the service was the worst I’ve ever had… at any restaurant.
Starting with trying to just get water, to having to order our food at the bar because our server never came back (after 40 min of us sitting there) then one of the chefs actually brought our food out when it was ready.
Lunch dragged for 2- 2 1/4 hours with 20-30 intervals of never seeing our waitress. The only thing she was quick to do was bring the check. Which makes sense now because a 20% gratuity was added since we were a party of 8.
Added gratuity is not the problem. We would have and always do tip more. But it was such a terrible experience, none of us will be returning to Elizabeth’s.

They were not seating 40 minutes before closing (front desk didn’t say anything about this) because they had an event right after closing. Was really looking forward to dining here.

Do not come here, if you want to eat. Come for a long wait time, bay view, very long wait time, coffee with a mandatory spoon of sugar, flatbread, eggs and extra long wait time. We waited 45 minutes just to be seated. Waited 30 minutes to get coffee - don’t order, I tried it, so you wouldn’t have to. Waited 30 minutes for a flatbread - yes, it is just a flatbread, they put eggs, bacon, onions on top, and it tastes exactly, as you think it would. We waited one hour for two lamb sausages covered in greek yogurt. Unless they had to hunt that lamb, there is no explanation, why it took so long. 90 minutes wait time to get a bowl of peppers(see picture). Had to take the whole family to the other place after that to eat.

Beth is incredible! The food was so good and you have to try the toffee pudding!!! The lemon cake is incredible too. Our group had fun with the yummy Italian sodas and the delicious apps before our meal. 10/10 would go again!

Fantastic place. We had brunch at Hester’s and decided to have Turkish coffee and Moroccan Mint tea at the museum - Elizabeth’s at the Art Museum. It’s inside the museum. They let us walk to the restaraunt. Excellence in service, presentation, and FOOD! We came for the Turkish Coffee and decided to have the SHAKSHUKA (poached eggs with warm peppers and tomato sauce served with baguette) even though we were full from BRUNCH AT Hester’s). It was outstanding. For parking, park for free in front of of museum down next to the water. Highly recommend.

Food took forever - out of multiple food and drink options. Ordered an appetizer that never came. Only one waitress for the inside and outside areas.

Everything about our experience was the perfect ending to our trip (and this place was definitely one of the best in the area!). It’s a gorgeous, bright, comfy space. All of the staff were welcoming (including to our baby!) and proactive. Serenity was very knowledgeable, kind, and a bright light in our time! We loved everything she recommended —- especially the shrimp la plancha and the ahi tuna. The sauce for the falafel was to die for. All the touches in the experience made us want to spend more time there and it felt absolutely worth the month for the quality, the amount and the environment

We had a wonderful birthday brunch for my wife at Elizabeth’s in Corpus Christi. The menu is super creative, and every dish felt fresh and thoughtfully put together. The vibe was relaxed, the service was great, and the food absolutely delivered.

It ended up being the perfect spot to celebrate — my wife loved it, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend Elizabeth’s for anyone looking for something delicious and a little different.

We were both very eager to dine here, but ultimately disappointed with the food and service. Despite a reservation, we still waited in a line to be seated for over 30 minutes. Additionally, a couple that came in 10 minutes after us got sat 10 minutes before us (I’m not sure if they also had a reservation or not). I only saw two servers for 15+ tables. If that’s the case, then reservations should not be accepted, and new tables should not be seated if they are short-staffed — max 5–6 tables per server typically.

The tuna was tough and had a strong fishy taste. The poached eggs were undercooked and snotty. And they claim to serve “Moroccan mint tea,” which I was so excited to enjoy; however, they need to rename it to green tea! That is the furthest thing from Moroccan tea and quite insulting actually. This was green tea with a single mint leaf for decoration. Moroccan mint tea is so delicious! It’s made of a large handful of fresh mint only and served with sugar cubes — it is unimaginably good and nothing like you’ve had before (nothing like boxed mint tea either). The Turkish coffee, again, was not made correctly! It was so watered down and weak!! It had no hint of cardamom either. In Corpus, you can get authentic Turkish coffee from Ratana and Ginger Cafe! My husband said the lamb sausage was very gamey, and the ponzu sauce for the tuna was essentially soy sauce. My cup was also dirty when served to me.

The only upside is Paige was very friendly and, despite being very busy, managed to check in on us throughout our meal. And the view, of course, is beautiful outside. However, inside, the noise volume is irritating, and the sound bounces from every direction sounding like a crowded cafeteria — my server had to nearly yell. Fortunately, she let us move outside.
