I don't know I went there and they closed up 45 minutes early than closed and lock the door in my face without an explanation?

The best tamales in town, other than my grandma's of course. Great service always! Just grab & go, not a restaurant.

I ordered a variety of tamales for a holiday work event. I called ahead to make an order and was available on time for pick up. There is no seating and is an order at counter or call ahead transaction. Family and locally owned! I am now a new customer.

Always delicious tamales. My favorite are the bean and the chicken jalapeño creamcheese. My family absolutely loves them.

I'd leave zero star if I could. They made an error and charged me $158.00 instead of $15.80 on my credit card for a dozen tamales. I made numerous attempts with my credit card company and Granny's over the last few months. Granny's said they remembered me and to come back when the owner returns from her cruise. When I came back I was informed they were NOT going to credit me because it had been too long. This is theft.

They are the best tamales in town. I was just there earlier today and the young woman behind the counter is always so friendly. The salsa is delicious and they usually have fresh baked pan de polvo on the counter enticing you to balance the savory tamales with something yummy and sweet. My cat also enjoys the little bits of tamales I share with her, and she is a very finicky eater. I very highly recommend Granny's Tamales. #golocal #cctxlocal #womenownedbusiness #freshandcaliente #5stars

The tamales used to have a generous amount of meat in them. Now you can barely see any meat at all. It tastes like all masa. Not good. Raise your price but don't eliminate the meat. Where is the beef?

We ran into Granny's Tamales at a farmers market in Sugarland and loved them. They started in Corpus so we had to pick some up for our kids and us....we got them hooked....love the filling to masa ratio. I would have said meat to masa before this visit but I tried the the cream cheese and jalapeno so now it's filling, these were very good. We got some pork and beef, amazing. They make their tamales a little skinnier than most but that doesn't matter to us 'cause they nail the ratio thing. If we wanted lots of masa we'd go to the California tamale place. Nope. We'll be back for more Granny's......now all I have to do is refrain from eating too many at one time, wish me luck.

Granny's Tamales is a hidden gem when it comes to tamales. Their jalapeño cream cheese tamales are simply divine. The combination of the spicy jalapeño and creamy cheese creates a burst of flavors in every bite. The tamales are perfectly steamed, with a soft and moist masa that wraps around the flavorful filling. The jalapeños add just the right amount of heat, balanced by the richness of the cream cheese. It's a delightful twist on a classic favorite. Whether you're a spice lover or not, these tamales are definitely worth a try. Head over to Granny's Tamales and indulge in this mouthwatering treat. You won't be disappointed!
