Genuinely sweet customer service with excellent tamales. Spicy pork, and chicken jalapeño cream cheese were both exactly what we were hoping for. Easy to eat too many! Not from Corpus, but would absolutely go out of my way for more.
I really wanted to like this place I’ve mean trying to make it in time to get tamales for two weeks. I finally got a day..However it’s hard to give a fair rating in my opinion. I ordered jalapeño chicken and cream tamales but I’m unsure if that’s what i received. I’m not sure there was any chicken? Also had two tamales that had crunchy texture and couldn’t figure out why until I finally noticed the eggshells. The taste was there and they were definitely warm. I just didn’t have a good experience with my order.

Great service when it comes to taking your order and serving it to you right away the tamales are warm but now they're $16 and the meat inside is really dry and it's a thin strip of meat no flavor and they use to be bigger last time I went there at 12 a dozen and this year 16 for smaller dryer tamales...I should have checked them first but I felt no need to because of the past experience when it was great.. lesson learned! who cares about the price but when you up the price make sure and up your ingredients to .

I stopped in today asking to try to buy a half dozen of chicken and a half dozen pork tamales. I was informed I could do that but that it would be $10.00 per each half dozen. For 1 dozen of 12 chicken tamales it is $16.63 plus tax. Which comes out to $18.00 per dozen. I tried 1 tamale and it was very dry, no lard. Also I couldn't taste any spices like cumin in them. The recipe is very bland. Not worth the $18.00. Delias is $10.19 per dozen hot from the steamer over in the valley. I'd rather spend the $18.00 on gasoline driving over there to buy some of those. Very high prices, for mediocre food. Grade F.
