Awesome food at very affordable prices❤, I found out about this place right before I had finals at Texas A&M (Corpus Christi), sometimes I’d have late night study, I’d order here and I love it!

I've been going to this location for 9 yrs, so long that I know after Covid's shutdown the food started to change. It wasn't bad but different. However compare to Hunan on Everhart this location is still better. It's happening again, last 3 takeout orders the food has been very salty. To the point my tongue is tingling and mouth dehydrated. I'll try again in 6 months.

The Chow Mein was so good, I had to get a plate to go! I ordered the Hunan Chicken, it was fresh and hot. The portion of my plate was enough for at least 2 meals. This is now my favorite location.

Hunan Express offers a variety of Chinese dishes with generous portions and reasonable prices. The beef in the beef mo moin is tender, and the hot & sour soup is a popular addition. The service is quick and the staff is friendly and polite. The food is delicious with big servings. The General chicken and sweet n sour chicken are really good, and their fried rice is flavorful. Good prices during their lunch specials and the plate was filled to the top. It is a very relaxed atmosphere.
