We loved our stop at Island Joe's. They have a great menu. Of course they offer the tried and true coffees, as well great beans to make their specialized offerings. The Rise and Shine & Dirty Coke Coffee, the Cucumber toast, bacon fritatta were all delicious. The stacked shipping containers showed how I want to build a home, this place felt like home. I'm here from DFW, but if I was local I'd be at Island Joe's all the time. If you don't like corporate burnt beans, This is the place to get a cuppa. Live life beautifully. ☮

Cool place, nice design, coffees were pretty good
I really wanted to love this coffee shop because I always make a point to support locally owned businesses whenever I travel.
Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt tense. No one greeted us or acknowledged us, and the staff seemed unhappy to be there. I understand everyone has difficult days, but the energy from one interaction can quickly affect the entire customer experience.
Sadly, the coffee didn’t make up for it. I ended up throwing mine away because I just didn’t enjoy it.
I hope this was simply an off day because North Padre Island deserves thriving local businesses. A warm welcome, a smile, and friendly customer service can make just as much of an impression as a great cup of coffee. I truly hope you’ll take this feedback as encouragement to create a more welcoming experience for future customers.

Coffee, food, and service were all great. Plenty of seating and parking. It was fast paced and loud inside, so bear in mind if you're looking for a quiet place to read a book or study. Outdoor seating was plentiful and more peaceful.
Always busy but the wait is worth it

Dang good coffee and incredible breakfast options. Not a fan of the music, though. I don't really appreciate other people's religions being shoved in my ears.
Simply put, we paid $15 for pre-packaged frozen smoothies and waited 20min for it. For some reason they were two different sizes. Honestly, I’ll take the blame for choosing to go here because I shouldn’t have expected good smoothies from a coffee shop but it’s part of the territory. Overall, a solid 2 stars because the staff were nice.

We love to food, we try to make the drive there monthly for Saturday morning breakfast and it gets packed because it is so popular!!
Always been curious about this place and finally stopped by to check them out, as they were open so early.
I loved the iced matcha latte with the sugar Free Mexican vanilla. The kolache was great! A different shape, with the same great flavor. My husband's biscuit was also very delicious, just a bit crumbly. Definitely recommend a fork.
